Mostly just cake and butter cream frosting (recipe I got from this site was very good!). Put edible glitter on top, and glued a non-edible boa around the base. Also had a sparkler in the shape of a 4 on the top.

I made these for someone's last day at work. They are WASC cupcakes with raspberry BC filling and lemon BC. I was just trying out some flowers and I topped them with white/clear edible glitter for a little sparkle.

This is my first attempt at cake decorating. I made the cake for a cousin's 40th birthday party and he loved it! The flat part of the cake is white and the boobs are strawberry cake. The boobs were made with the large 2-piece cupcake pan using just the top of the cupcake. The corset was decorated with edible glitter.

Oval cake dummies. Fondant covered. Spackeled with buttercream and then dusted with disco dust( love the stuff!)on the back half, embossed with snowflakes on the front half, then dusted with sliver. Royal icing snowfakes dusted with both the disco and silver cascading down the front. Took the ideas from flowergirlMN and sugarshack to make this.

Hello,
i've made this pink wedding cake.
Two layers and a special wedding cake topper on top.
It's shiny because i rubbed it in with edible glitters !!
The bottom cake was filled with lemon mousse and the top was filled with a cherry flavoured mouse.
Greetings and happy baking,
Eros

I wanted to make a pillow like effect with blue and white icing. I then sprinkled the cupcakes with glitter and placed a RI snowflake on the top with a dragee. These were made for the staff at my son's school.

These are my first fancy decorated cookies! I used royal icing - thick for outlining and thinned for flooding. I piped on the details at a flooding consistency while the cookies were still wet, then sprinkled the whole thing with disco dust. I am happy with the way they came out, but would like to make them a bit neater next time.

Well, after much research, and a lot of time putting it together, the sparkling butter cream cake is now another completed cake project! Thank you to all who gave great tips on getting butter cream to sparkle! I sprayed the whole cake (before scroll work) with edible lustre spray in pearl color, from PME. I LOVE it!! I also used the Rainbow Sparkles from Light Vision Confections on the tops of the tiers. 5MM dragee accents and free form scroll work. Thanks for looking! I appreciate any comments! :)

Chocolate Fudge cake with banana cream filling. BC frosting with the silfer divider being chocolate fondant covered in Nu Silver. The lipstick portion also had pearl dust and pure gold to give it a shimmer. On the side are NFSC with RI and luster dust. I don't like the writing, but that is what I get for doing it at 3 AM. They were going to a venue called "LIPS". Apparently the restaurant/theater was interested in the cake even though they have signature deser

A friend of mine needed a cake for her grandmother that was "bedazzled". She loves gold, jewels, glamour and glitz. I sprinkled edible glitter in two different colors all around the base and the feather boas. I glued glitter on the dragonfly and butterflies to brighten them up. Both tiers are covered with a pale green fondant, a gold ribbon and white feather boa. I used styrofoam for the base and glued jeweled ribbon to it.

My friend is French and her husband is Indian...I made this cake for her birthday to complement the bright decor of their beautiful home...Pink/Orange fondant. I used gold edible glitter (the small long tube by wilton) mixed with a little vodka to "paint" the fondant. You don't even have to wait until it dries! The little wooden accents on the side & the ribbon were the only non edible parts. Vanilla cake w/raspberry filling.

My friend, Alton loves great vodka...so I created this cake for his birthday. I'm ordering one of those edible printers! I am also a graphic artist, so I created the "label" using Adobe with a Grey Goose bottle sitting in front of me. Not perfect but pretty close! I substitued his name for "FRANCE" on the label to make it more customized. The cake is vanilla with homemade Cream Cheese icing covered w/fondant. I painted the "bottle" w/a solution of silver edible glitter & grey goose! If you'd like to order the label & instructions email me at jameii@aol.com Good luck!
