Bottom layer is chocolate cake, top is German Chocolate. Buttercream roses. My buttercream turned really, really soft while making the roses, so I was upset with them. But the customer loved it and said it tasted wonderful.

My 1st castle cake, and I'm pretty happy with how it came out. The castle is buttercream. I covered swiss rolls w/ mmf and the ice cream cones were piping gel w/ cake crystals on it. I then painted silver luster dust on anything that was mmf. This was a german themed cake so the flags are german and the flags on top are part german phrases and english too. Thanks for all the help w/ this one :)

This is a german chocolate cake I made for my Boss' 56th anniversary. I wanted to pretty it up a bit, so I made some tootie roll flowers (and one caramel flower). They were amazed, and the cake was yummy! But, the flowers did start to "wilt" because of the moisture of the frosting. (after about maybe 6 or so hours). Thanks for looking!

My Mom is picky about her cakes. She doesn't like buttercream icing, fondant or any kind of filling so I made her a plain german chocolate cake with coconut pecan icing (her favorite). It looked really plain to me so I dressed it up with the Pirouette cookies and she loved it! Whoever was the first to use the Pirouette cookies to decorate a cake was a genius. They transform a plain cake into elegance!
