This is a double chocolate cake covered in fondant and a buttercream border. The road is also made of fondant wth green sprinkles as grass. I gave up half way while making this cake it was looking awful. At the end the cake turned out ok. There are lots of things I wish I've done different.
Thanks for looking!

We celebrated the spring birthdays of everyone in in my family all at once!! This is what I came up with to include everyone. It is buttercream with mmf tiles. The only inedible decorations were the tile racks.

I made this cake for my great uncle who play a very little known sport called Trugo, which involves hitting a rubber donut with a mullet.

Just an Xbox cake made for a customer. Carved, covered in greyish fondant, and airbrushed light silver. I hand painted the darker areas...should have used darker tinted fondant but my black was looking too blue (ran out of Americolor and was using Wilton) and the paint was the color I wanted...however b/c of that the dark parts do not have a very smooth finish.

I made this cake in cake class. Plastic helmets and football. Everything else was BC. The arms could DEFINITELY have been smoother. I think my BC wasn't the right consistancy. Any suggestions on how to make it pipe out smoother, rather than smoothing it after it crusts?

This was a request for a little girl's 2nd birthday. That tells ya how crazy people are for OU in Oklahoma! All is BC, except the football is plastic and the trophy and balloons are candles. I did the side border by striping the bag red with white icing and used an extra large ribbed icing tip.

I guess this was a difficult cake to cover anyway but I made alot of mistakes on this one. Plus it took me forever and ever and ever. Of course the two guys I made it for loved it...I also made cotrollers. Maybe it is the mmf recipe that I am using but I get lots of cracks when I try to cover things...

this cake was a ton of fun. it was made for an avid scrabble fan. we used fondant to cover the sides and top, and then i piped the lines in royal icing, then thinned out the royal icing to fill in the "double/triple word/letter" scores. Score sheet and letter rack are made of gumpaste. I heard it went over well at the birthday party and that they had a hard time cutting into it. :)

The most challenging part of this cake was getting the names and words to work out. My handwriting leaves a lot to be desired but I threw this together at the last minute for our Family cookout. I have another pic of this cake without the border. I couldn't decide which I liked best.

This is for my son's 5th birthday. He is a Pacman NUT and will absolutely adore this. There are some things I'm not happy with but overall I think it turned out nicely. The hood part is foam board and I drew the original arcade scene on the sides. The cake is covered in fondant with fondant and royal icing accents. The joystick is fondant and a lollipop stick.

LOVED making this one. Made for my sister's b'day. She likes games, and the bingo theme is an in joke. Her favourite chocolate is cadbury and boost bars, so I made those the prizes, and she likes diet coke and we are always snacking so I made a bowl of corn chips. About 75% of the balls are numbered with relevance, family birthday's etc. A table cloth in her fav colour purple. Brownie cake covered in white choc fondant with fondant and gumpaste accents. She loved it and to date it's one of my favs to!
