Everyone who can tell I have never even SEEN a gamecube....raise your hand! :) LOL. This is for my nephew's 8th birthday tomorrow. He saw a similar cube on here when we were looking for ideas, and that was what he wanted! Thanks all for looking...and for being such an inspiration!

I made this cake for my little brother who just turned 13. He loves board games and his party was a board game party. This cake ended up being 17 inches by 17 inches. He goes to a private Catholic school and the mascot is the mustang so I incorporated that into the cake. The dice on the top of the cake are sugar cubes. The houses and hotels are fondant. The money is from one of the games that he had at the party.

Ordered by my SIL as a surprise for her DIL. They're hosting a Euchre party for her b'day. (Euchre is a card game that seems to be unknown outside Michigan ;-) I have to ship this from TX, so it's a tiny 6" square cake, with fondant tablecloth, gumpaste chips, bowl, glasses and pizza. I printed out the cards onto glossy sticker paper, and just stuck them on the tablecloth. Tried to do it with feminine colors. Hope it survives its journey!

I did this cake for my little BIL's 16th birthday. Sorry the pic is fuzzy. It's all fondant. First time making one and I am happy with how it looks. I even did the letters on the buttons, the dots on the two small black buttons, and the lines on the big black button.

This is a birthday cake I made for my brother-in-law. It was supposed to be an xbox 360 but I had a little trouble with the mmf so I had to change the look of it a little. I told my BIL that it was designed especially for him. His birthday is December 15th. That's where the 1215 comes from. The controller is made of rice crispies and mmf.

i made this for my mother-in-law, i made the scrabble board seperate out of fondant again with tylose added to set it hard as well as all the counters etc.. all the words are things to do with her life over 60 years. i stuck with all the letters that are used in a game making sure not to make too many of any etc...just their exact amount. she loved it and is still a scrabble fanatic.

I made this for my brother's birthday. He loves video games. The cake is a butter cake with buttercream dream icing. The controller, the game, and the name plate were made with candy melts. This was my first time using candy melts and molding figures. I'm fairly pleased with my first attempt.

I did this cake for a co-worker's son's 11th Birthday. He's addicted to the online game Rune Scape.
The Sword, Stones and Rocks with Letters are all Fondant, the Sword has Luster Dust on it.
The Dragon is Color Flow - He took forever do do because of all the colors.
Chocolate Buttercream tinted to look like cement.
The cake was a big hit! Enjoy!

These are pics of the cake i made for my husband, since after all he loves his PS2 i decided to hook him up with an edible version. Its a chocolate cake through and through. although i was so short of time i was unable to make the controller so i used a quick fix and just grabbed a real one that i added to the cake later.

This is a practice cake. I wanted to try doing a transfer using buttercream frosting. The cake is about 4 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches tall. The cake wasn't completly cool (i wont do that again) so the frosting started to melt but it turned out ok.
What do you think?
