C?l?bration dans Paris! With details reminiscent of Le Moulin Rouge amid the silhouette of the Parisian skyline, turning 15 was a special event.

Giant McD's cake! This was basically a 1/4 sheet pan cut in 4th's and stacked. I torted each layer, stacked and filled 4 layers, put in 8 straws for support, layed down a cake board, then stacked the remaining 4 layers. I let it chill in the freezer before I carved and crumbcoated, The french fries were so easy to make because I just took a package of Wilton fondant right out of the bag and cut it in strips. Much easier than kneeding and trying to get back to a square shape! Then I airbrushed and sprinkled sugar on for the "salt".

This cake was for our daughters 3rd birthday. Driving down the road one day, she said she wanted a french fry cake!! This was such a fun cake to make and it has been a big hit. I had a lot of people not believe it was cake from the photos. The fries themselves are made from a yellow cake that I baked in a 9x13 (or maybe a little bigger), I removed it from the pan and cut into strips and then the strips in half. Then I used a pastry brush to brush water on to the strips that I had placed on cookie sheets. Once wet I sprinkled them with raw sugar (aka salt), then rebaked them to make the edges crispy. They were delicious!

This cake was made for a skinny guy who always refers to himself as fat kid when he wants a burger, shake and fries. The cake is yellow cake with vanilla buttercream. The shake is chocolate buttercream and vanilla buttercream for the whipped cream. The cherry is fondant. The burger and bun are both rice krisipies covered in fondant and the fries are sugar cookies covered in a water and egg eggwash.

Royal iced Eiffel Tower for my French friends 30th birthday. Her favourite flower is the sunflower which was made in gumpaste. Thanks to Ronny Morris who emailed the instructions for the Tower from the American Cake Decorating Magazine. This was the most challenging cake i've ever done and it worked first time!!!

This is a french vanilla cake with my standard buttercream. Covered in fondant, and gumpaste designs. Super fun cake to make, and an even cuter party theme! If you love candy, I highly suggest having a "Sweet Shoppe" theme.

This is a wedding cake that I made last week. The bride requested brown satin ribbon (which was a pain to find in 2.5 inch). The bottom layer was french vanilla, with traditional buttercream filling. The top two layers were dark chocolate cake with raspberry mousse filling. Simple, yet elegant design. On a side note, I had ordered a cake stand to display this cake on, and it arrived the day before the wedding (late), and broken into a million pieces. Ugh!!! The horror! The original design was meant for the bow to be in the center of the bottom layer, and hang off over the edge of the cake stand. On a second side note... the company sent me a new stand. It arrived yesterday, and it was the WRONG stand, and the stand I want is now out of stock!!! Double UGH!!!

I made this cake for my daughter?s best friend. This is a swiss chocolate cake covered in buttercream and MMF. I baked 3 ?10 cakes, stacked, iced & then carved. After icing over everything, I used MMF for the base corners, the strip between & strips of MMF also around the edge of the top half of the tower. I used a template I made myself to mark the arches and triangles, filled in with chocolate buttercream between the MMF and the arches/triangles. I piped x?s in chocolate buttercream on tower and base. The tower is RKT covered in mmf. I used edible pearls and painted gold luster dust over the mmf. I know it?s not perfect but I know what to do different if I ever do another Eiffel Tower. lol Though I did not get the final picture of this, I also added the girl?s name to the side of the tower base and then added Happy Birthday written in French on the cake board.

My son was turning 6 yrs old and wanted one of his favorite things for a cake... Mc Donalds Happy Meal. The cake is the red Happy Meal container which was coated in Sugar Shack buttercream and covered in Fondx Fondant. The milk and burger are rice krispy treats. The fries are fondant. Kevin was so happy. I wish I could post pictures of him with the cake. Thanks for looking!
