I am donating this cake to my dd's school for the annual fall festival auction. It is football time in TN, so I thought it would be a good seller!!
11x15 with the football pan. Both yellow cakes with buttercream icing. I am actually quite happy with this cake, and DH had a fit over it which makes me feel even better!!!

This cake was done to commemorate the 30th anniversary of our HS's state championship football team. There was a small recognition ceremony during our "Homecoming" game last night! Everyone loved it!

This was for two brothers celebrating their birthdays together. One is a Cowboy fan and the other is an Eagle fan. They had a huge birthday bash at a Disco Club. The helmets are FBCTs.

I made this cake for my 15 year wedding anniversary. This is my family, my son the football player, my daughter the cheerleader, my husband the software engineer and myself the cake maker....This was my first time making characters in fondant.

This is my final cake from Wilton Course 3. I decided to deviate from the wedding cake theme and show my Badger spirit. My husband took some cheap metal cookie cutters and rebent them into the shape of a "W" keep as close to the official logo specs as possible. I didn't have access to 6x6 pans when I decided to bake the cakes, late one night so my husband again helped me make do by rebending some disposable 8x8 tin pans. Overall I think the cake turned out pretty well.

Helmet, football and side cake made for a major Cincinnati Bengals fan. Helmet is 6" with half the sports ball. The football is carved from half the sports ball, and the side cake is a 6". The face mask was the hardest part. Its a straw covered in fondant.

This cake was for a man turning 40, which is why the cake is laying on the 40 yard line. The wife requested a logo in the design and I added the Terrible Towel (The original without the writing!) for fun- since I'm originally from PA. The cake was just chocolate with B/C icing. The logo and towel were fondant. Royal icing fringe on the towel. Logo done with pin prick and edible markers

football baked in the Wilton football pan. Covered with chocolate syrup frosting. Chocolate cake with choc. choc.chip filling. YUM! I took my chances on this one and didn't use a cake board or dowels under the football. I figured since the football covered nearly the whole top of the cake it really wouldn't be that much different than torting the cake and adding another layer. We'll see!!!!

This was for a high school football's hospitality suite. It is huge and will feed about 150 people. Wilton football pan baked twice makes the football. It is filled and joined with Butter cream and the cake is made using mixes and the super enhanced recipe found here. It is about 3 feet by 1 1/2 feet and I used a 16X16 pan twice but had to trim a bit to fit the board. The picture doesn't do it justice since the green is pulled grass and looks pretty cool.

I made this cake in a hurry for my son. I had another cake picked out, but the night before he changed his mind and wanted this one. I had yellow football goals made from fondant, but they didn't have enough time to dry. I wasn't very happy with it, but he liked it, and I guess that's all that really matters.

Dark Chocolate fudge cake with dark chocolate buttercream with mmf accents & lettering. The cake is sitting on a tray that I got last year from Party City - it sure made this decorating job a lot easier!

This cake was very stressful to make, as it was a groom's cake for my cousin's fiance. I think it turned out well, and as always I learned many lessons!

The Nordicware stadium bundt pan. After baking I realized I didn't have any cake boards left, otherwise I would have done the field area green. The pan overflowed a bit so the bottom edge is a little rough where I had to trim it.

I got the idea for the baseball from elegantcheesecakes.com. My brothers birthday is this friday (October, Friday the 13th!) and he played sports his whole life. The football and baseball are made out of rice crispy treats (if you ever watch ace of cakes, they use them alot) Then covered in fondant. The red stitching on the cake was OH MY GOD!!! it took sooooo long and was sooooo ahhhhhhh! then i rubbed a little brown coloring on it to made it look worn. I have yet to autograph it.

Football cake done for DH food day at work for Nebraska & Missouri fans. 1/2 chocolate fudge 1/2 french vanilla with BC & fondant accents. I used the foam foller to smooth and will never use anything else. 1st FBCT which aren't perfect but at least you can tell what they are. The little footballs are made of candy melts in a mold. Thanks for looking.

This was an 8" chocolate cake with real buttercream icing. The ball borders are made of fondant. This was a learning experience. I know how to make it look much better next time.
