This is my first fondant covered square cake. French Vanilla with Buttercream icing under the fondant.

This is a 10in. Strawberry with a 6in vanilla on top. French vanilla for the icing. Bow is made from fondant, little red hearts are sugar, buttercream border with fondant lettering. I really enjoyed making this and TFL.

This is my first display cake... I made it for the hotel my mother-in-law works at. Unfortunately, she couldn't find cake dummies in our area, so she just bought a bunch of styrofoam from Hobby Lobby & I had to make it work! It was not fun!! Fake cakes are a little harder to cover in fondant!! Thank goodness the pictures don't show all the little mistakes!!! But the end result was pretty good, I thought.

Here is another Minnie Mouse cake!! It's for a friend's daughter, who was turning 2 and LOVES all things Minnie Mouse! I've gotta give credit to lots of CCers that inspired the cake, but I can't recall any of them at the moment! It's a triple choc. cake w/ a chocolate ganache filling. Everything is fondant. TFL

This was my 2nd try at fondant. Not as smooth as I'd like but I'm happy with the attempt. Fondant beaded border. The bow was super easy!

This was for my niece's baptism. Chocolate with vanilla butter cream icing and fondant bow and sash. it was her favorite color - hot pink...doest look that color in these photos. the texture was odd, the instructions said to take a paper towel and touch it and pull up. if i had to do it over again i would have made it smooth.

Three-layer eight-inch round chocolate cake filled and decorated with vanilla buttercream and topped with a bow made from marshmallow fondant. I love marshmallow fondant, and I love this little cake!

2 layer 10 inch square cake. covered in Fondant with a fondant bow, and fondant tag written on with food markers. I also wrote "Happy Birthday" on the actual fondant using food markers. This was one of the easiest cakes I have ever made.

8" marble cake with ganache filling iced in all b/c. Alyssa wanted a pretty fuschia bow with the zebra stripes to match her birthday invitation. Hope she likes her birthday cake. TFL

a friend asked for yellow and grey cakes, which did not sound like a good color combo to me, but i now i think it's just beautiful! the cakes were the centerpieces for the tables. buttercream w/ fondant bows.

This cake was for a girl who loves Lily Pulitzer patterns. It was a surprise for her & her Mom asked me if I could do a pink & green theme in a LP pattern. I believe it was called limeade floater, has seahorses & flowers through out. Buttercream & fondant accents. TFL
