Sculptured the cakke iced and sprayed to replicate Fire Truck and added ladders and hoses , Flag, mirrors , etc.

Fire truck cake for my son. Buttercream icing and fondant/gumpaste features, royal icing for the ladder. BIG thanks to tharris1977 for instructions and idea. My son loved it and it was a big hit.

I made this cake to thank our local firemen for pumping out our basement during a recent flood. The firetruck is pound cake w/chocolate buttercream & covered in fondant. All details are fondant. The road & grass are 1/2 chocolate & 1/2 vanilla cake covered w/fondant & cream cheese frosting. I looked at many great cakes on CC & took ideas from them to help make my cake. I wish I could have done the wheels better, but I was happy overall. Next time I will know how to make them look more realistic. The hose in the grass w/water coming out represents the hose coming from our basement.

Wedding Cake for a firefighter and his bride. The house is the cake. The truck is a to scale replica of the pumper truck the firefighter drives made of fondant covered rkt. Cotton candy smoke, pulled sugar flames, pulled sugar tree, cast sugar windows. The figures are gum paste.

My first firetruck cake! Thanks to all you CC users who have tried this before me! Using a 12x18x2 in. pan, I trimmed off the edges and cut 3 equal pieces that were 12x5.5, and stacked them to create the firetruck base on the same size cake board. I then carved out the middle section and applied the red fondant (homemade for the first time!) I made the details and applied everything except the tires & ladders the night before. I applied those just before delivery. It is a vanilla cake covered in vanilla fondant. Challenging but successful I think!

This was my first firetruck cake... it started as 10" square, wheels are rice krispies covered in fondant, ladder was gumpaste ( my 2 royal icing ladders broke!) TFL

A Firetruck themed cake for a 3 yr old. Cake is 4 layer confetti cake covered with Swiss meringue buttercream. All decorations are fondant.

For my son's 3rd bday- my first attempt at a truck. Happy with the way it turned out, learned alot too. The front two parts were lemon cake with lemon buttercream, and the back was chocolate fudge with ganache. This cake turned out alot bigger than I thought- that cake board is 30" by 18"! He loved it!

This was inspired by a cake by ColeAlayne. The grin on my 2 year old nephew's face when he saw he very own firetuck cake was priceless! It is chocolate cake with crusting cream cheese buttercream icing.
