Very romantic wedding for a firefighter and his bride. They wanted a toy firetruck on top (their choice) as the only accessory to the cake (no flowers). 12", 10", 8" & 6" cakes.

i made this firetruck for my grandson who turned 16. he wants to be a volunteer fireman like his dad. he only gave me about 3 days notice so it turned out quite pitiful! i learned a lot and had fun doing it for him! i got a lot of great tips from donna_makes_cakes.

Made to match birthday decorations. This is a 12" and 8" round covered in BC with fondant accents. I also made a smash cake that was a firetruck to match. This was so much fun to make. I heard they loved it!

This was a smash cake to match party decorations. Made from an 8x8 square, then cut in half and stacked. Fondant accents. I also make a 2 tier cake to go along with this. So much fun to make!

I made this cake for a Breast Cancer Awareness event called the Pink Ribbon Tour. A group of firefighters travel the country in a pink fire truck to raise awareness and raise money for breast cancer research.

Firetruck for my sons 4th birthday. We tried to decorate it as close to the truck that his dad drives. Butter yellow cake with buttercream filling and covered in buttercream. The cab is a 6 inch square, 1 inch walk through space. The back of the truck was 10 inches. Used fondant accents: ladder, light bar, headlights, grill, rear lights watergun on top, windows. The wheels are fondant covered styrofoam. We cut out slits of the cake board for wheels to fit up in. The cake is sitting up off the bottom board on a wrapped piece of wood to keep the truck very stable.

I made this for my son's 3rd birthday. The firetruck is iced in buttercream, and all of the decorations (ladders, windows, hubcaps, etc.) are made from royal icing. The wheels are rice cakes covered in royal icing. The rope is licorice. And the siren lights are made from red gummy worms. The house is made of graham crackers glued together with royal icing. I sprayed black spray coloring in spots to make the house look burned. It also fell apart while I was gluing it together, but I thought this added to the whole effect so I didn't bother to fix it.

This is the cake I made for the Zelienople Fire Dept annual banquet. Tragically, the dept lost three young members earlier this week in a terrible accident - this cake is a tribute to them.

Wheels are off a toy engine, axles mounted to wooden base covered in fancy foil and stabilized with dowels behind each wheel. (You could technically look under the cake from many angles and not see the dowels, which I wanted.)
This was a very heavy, very time-intensive cake, but it was fun to finish. Millsap (the name on the bunker coat) is the baby's last name and it was his first birthday, so that's why it's Engine 1. :)

Lemonade cake covered in buttercream and MMF. This was for my son's 4th birthday. It was so hard to do all the details. I could make another on easy now that I know everything I did wrong. Painted with luster dust. He loved it.
