The customer provided the hunter & deer from a "Field & Stream Kit" she bought with the intention of doing the cake herself. She decided that wasn't her cup of tea and asked me if I could do something. Rocks, etc. made out of fondant. Brook is tinted gray & brown topped with clear piping jel to give it a more "authentic" water look (I don't care for "blue" water as the only place water looks blue is in the carribbean!!).

our local CFL football team just won the Grey Cup last night!
10" square cake with rice krispie football. All buttercream with hand piped candy melt logos and lettering, fondant stripes/line markers and fondant covered football - this cake was a blast to make considering the "RIDER-PRIDE" in this province!
thanks to RSTML for the inspiration!

I did another cake like this last year for a different little girl. This one was really simple. I just deocorated it with buttercream icing and then I set plastic flocked horses on top of the cake.

This was made for a coworker who is a huge fan. M&M's were used for the "fans" in the stands. I put small "good luck" type signs on toothpicks to be like the fans were holding them up in the stands. Broncos logo is BCT.

This was the groom's cake for my friend's wedding. The groom wanted whipped icing so I air-brushed the cake and put a deco pac on it.
I am new at doing cakes so I didn't realize that it would look so sparse or I would have ordered 2 deco pacs and at least used the trees and deer out of it as well. But THANKFULLY they loved it!
The cake is 2, 9X13 chocolate cakes with Wilton whipped icing. TFL!!

Made this a while back and forgot to take a pic. Had the pic e-mailed to me so the quality is not that good. Think I had probably seen this design on here before, thanks for this inspiration.

This is probably my biggest sheet cake request. I think I have done about a dozen of these in different teams. All bc with piping gel outline transfer. TONS of grass. Grass on cakes seems to be popular around here.

Sheet base is choc cake w/vanilla buttercream. Qwest Field stadium is 6" choc cake w/MMF. "Blitz" Seahawk mascot is fondant. Logo on side and top of stadium (not very visible) are chocolate transfers (thanks Kym's Cakes for the inspiration!) Not much detail on stadium as only 6", but you get the idea. Thanks for looking

This is just my take on using the ball pan for a baseball. This is actually the first time I have done a baseball. I was very happy with the way it turned out. Everything on it is buttercream and believe it or not...I did the "Brewers" logo while I was talking on the phone! LOL I have never done that before and I am so happy my writing turned out perfect! I guess that means I'm getting better!
Thanks for looking!

Cookies n' cream ice cream cake. Iced with vanilla ice cream. BC football field, footballs and helmets are molded candy melts. Logo is a pick that my local grocery store baker sold to me for 15 cents. The field was done with the large icing tip. Not sure it has a number. It's the tip that some use for spreading the icing evenly out of a pastry bag. One side is serated. I used a piece of tape lengthwise to limit the flow of icing.

Whipped icing with sugar footballs around the sides (and one on top). The recipient is a New England Patriots fan, hence the blue & red theme.
