I did this for my neices third birthday. She saw the wilton wonder mold pan about four months before her birthday and HAD to have a princess cake. She wouldn't stop talking about it. Unfortunately it was pouring rain that day and Cinderella got a little wet on the way to the ice cream parlor. Oh well, she still loved her.

This cake evolved out of necessity to cover up mistakes...so the shawl and heart edging conveniently cover boo-boos!

This isa picture of the Barbie doll cake that I had asked CC users advice on. (Thanks to everyone!!) The doll cake is chocolate with BC icing, and the sheet cake is half chocolate, half butter cake with BC Icing. It is far from perfect, but all in all, I think it turned out pretty good.

I followed the instruction on the package of the doll pan, using two tones of buttercream and some small candies (on the garlands and torso).

I made this princess Belle cake for my daughter's 3rd birthday. She had a Beauty & The Beast party. It's all bc except for the attempt at the rose, which was made of MMF. It's only the third decorated cake I ever made (the others were for her 1st and 2nd birthdays!) I have a lot to learn and need tons more practice, but overall I think it came out cute.

Two plastic barbie dolls with cake for dresses. Dresses covered with textured fondant using textured rolling pins. Table is styrofoam underneath but just as well could be cake. Table decorations all edible. Number of candles on cake was age of birthday girl. Plates made out of gumpaste and after they dried for a bit(2 hours), I drew on them with edible blue pen.

My 3 year old wanted a Cinderella doll cake for her birthday. This is what I came up with. It's a dark chocolate fudge cake with rolled buttercream fondant. It's my first cake and I think it came out pretty well :o)

First doll cake and I had soo much fun! Wanted to use a real barbie, but ran out of time to go and get one. 10" square. Insipiration from cake4you for the cornille lace and ruffle effect, charman for the necklace and from steph for my fondant work, Thanks guys! Buttercream with fondant swag accents/bow and bodice. I would have done the whole think in fondant, but I didn't think 3 year olds would like it as much. Everyone LOVED it!
