Birthday cake which I made for my friend, who is Barbie and fashion fan. Skirt is made of two cakes: chocolate sponge base and vanilla sponge top, both cakes are torted with mascarpone, qiumiq, philadelphia kind of cheese and gooseberry gelly cream. The skirt cover is painted MMF. That's my first doll cake :D

My first Raggedy Ann! I don't see her a lot any more, so I was thrilled at the idea. They wanted real strawberries incorporated on the outside of the cake, since it was filled with strawberries & whipped cream. Thanks for looking!

Wilton Barbie pan w/Bratz Barbie. You are never to old for Barbie (or Bratz) I made this for my own birthday party. But not without my daughters help. She provided the Brat doll & helped me with the dress ideas.

I made this cake for my daughters dance teacher. The kids had a little bridal shower for her. I didnt have the right pan so I used what I had. Turned out a little bit of a weird shape. but I tried.

I got the idea for this cake from sue_dye on Cake Central, and she was nice enough to let me "copy" her design because I loved it so much! I didn't have time for all the details she had, and she had these gorgeous ribbons in the front, held up by the birds, but I couldn't get the birds to attach to the skirt. Oh well. Everyone literally GASPED when they saw the cake, and the little girl started dancing and said "That's my Cinderella cake!" It made me feel so wonderful that I helped make her day special!

pink fondant and buttercream princess cake for my niece's 5th birthday. Instead of using a "magic" cake pan, I used my 8 cup pampered chef glass measuring bowl. Perfect!

Its a maderia cake covered in fondant. The flowers are made of paper and in the centre of the flowers are pins. There are pins around the waist too.The pins and flowers are for effect only. No one will be eating this cake.
Its only for practice.
I did a few boo boo's making this one,but now I think that I can make one good enough to give away. I've got a lot of inspiration from CC,thankyou
everyone...

First time doing a doll cake. Probably the most fun cake to do! I'm not much of a hair stylist though!

My first doll cake. My fondant was too soft to lay over the whole cake so I layered on a piece at a time. Not exactly what I was going for, but not too bad. Chocolate cake with french vanilla mousse covered in MMF. The mousse began to leach out from under her dress at the party and it looked like she was peeing! How do I keep mousse from leaching? Also, I re-styled Belle's hair because it looked all wrong. I used Pampered Chef batter bowl to bake cake in. Very happy with the shape of the cake!

My first doll cake, just for fun and practice. I didn't realize the wonder pan took more than a mix's worth of batter, so she's a little short...just pretend she's kneeling! (or that she has no ankles, haha!). Fondant top and skirt with royal icing flowers.

My first doll cake. She will actually be the top tier of a cake for a Quincenera I am working on due this Saturday. I used the Wondermold pan and stacked it on top of a 2-layer 9" cake for extra height.

I used a casserole dish with a rounded bottom for the head and halved a round cake for the body. The hair was pull-apart licorice twists. I had to "glue" them on one by one with icing. Fun cake to do..

Just practicing before my Wilton I class starts. This is the first time I've ever made this kind of a cake. I made two and gave them to the neighbor's twins who were turning 1. I thought they made cute "smash cakes."
