My first shoe - what an ordeal. It broke halfway through making it / the paint is still sticky / and I kept spotting up the black icing with little wet marks. The next one will be easier since I made all of my mistakes on this one.

All fondant...Disappointed with the zipper mold I purchased..Kinda small but still worked..Fondant sagged a bit but it kind of looks like a slouched bag and customer will never notice..LOL..Took me 4 hours to handpaint the LV logos...Arrgghhh

This is a dark chocolate cake with peanut butter pie filling and chocolate buttercream frosting. The cake is for a little girl's birthday. Her initials are decorating the front of the purse like a designer might initial their work.

This is my first designer purse. This cake is a marble cake. One half of it has vanilla buttercream and the other half chocolate buttercream. I made the hardware with fondant mixed with tylose. TFL

This dress was an almost exact copy of my god daughter's birthday dress. It was a white cake with buttercream icing. The bodice was made of rice krispie treats and the shoes and purse were made of gumpaste. She turned 26, so I added the numbers on top. I forgot to push them down more so the dowels wouldn't show. Hope you guys enjoy!

This is a white cake with buttercream icing. I used a NEW tease metal comb to make the zipper of the purse. I added cotton candy to the giftbox to give the cotton effect. The bow was painted with super pearl luster dust to give the satin image. Edible images ere used for the purse and thr jewelry was made with gumpaste. The accessories for the purse was made with gumpaste as well. Hope you guys enjoy.

Okay, so here is my first ever handbag/purse cake! Made this for a cake order last week. It was a learn-as-you-go experience for me and definitely took longer than expected, but so glad it turned out great! Decided to give it that nice glossy finish! Thanks for the inspiration from all the other CC members that make such beautiful designer purse cakes! TFL and comments welcome!! :-)

This is was a white cake with buttercream icing.. I cut the c's with a cookie cutter and a smaller one for the center. Everything else was made of gumpaste and fondant

Prada shoe box and shoe. The shoe is my own design - I went for something easy at it was the first shoe I've made. The shoe box was 7"x11" chocolate mud cake with chocolate buttercream.

Another one day notice cake. Thanks for all of your cakes, because I used some of the ideas. I added the cupcake friends to complete the theme. The cakes are white with chocolate icing. I baked the cupcakes in a tiny dome shape bakeware. This way I didn't have to worry about wrappers. Fondant was used to decorate. Hope you guys enjoy!

My girlfriend asked for a buttercream handbag cake (Hermes Birkin Bag) and a gumpaste Christian Louboutin shoe...so that's what she got! The bag is all buttercream with fondant handles and luster-dusted fondant hardware on the front; and the shoe is gumpaste painted with gel colors. The credit cards are not edible.
