This is a lemon cake with lemon filling & lemon BC. The figures are supposed to represent the hostess & her standard poodle and are on a removable plaque so she can keep it as a memento. The flowers are made out of fondant.

This was for my daughter's 3rd birthday. She loves the Toy Story movies and specifically requested a Jessie cake. Cake is 10" yellow with lemon cream cheese and strawberry fillings and 6" chocolate with ganache and cookies and cream fillings. Cake is iced in white chocolate buttercream and covered in homemade fondant. Jessie, her hat and the badge are molded from a mixture of fondant and gumpaste. Features and chaps are painted with gel food color. Cake accents are fondant and grass is piped royal icing.

This cake was for a baby shower and the theme was pink and brown cowgirl. She knew she wanted cow spots, a rope, and a pink bandana . . . but let me do what I wanted as far as design. Love those kind of customers!!! Anyway, thanks for looking! Oh yeah, choc cake with buttercream and fondant accents. I picked up a miniature hat used in making homecoming corsages and molded fondant over it for the hat.

White 10" and 8" cakes decorated for a trio of birthdays for sisters -- who all love horses and riding them. They let me pick the design and style and do whatever I wanted. All buttercream, except for the fondant daisy. Thanks for looking.

For a little girl's 10th birthday. She loves horses. BC, MMF fondant horse, letters, and numbers. I think this one is my favorite so far. Lots of inspiration from many wonderful creators of cakes on CC..... Shalderman, Cheneya, Kellylowe, and Jenhos. Thanx!!

This is the cake I made for my husband's goddaughter's 3rd birthday. It is a 6in tier and a 9in tier both yellow cake with and Best Ever Buttercream (Thanks deyouan). The 9in has raspberry preserves as a filling. I'm happy with how it turned out. I had made her name out of fondant and a "3" but in the process of making my finishing touches this morning they broke. The Birthday Girl was very happy to see it. Thanks to everyone on CC for the inspiration. Thanks for looking!

This was actually a lot of fun to do. It was also a lot easier than I initially thought it would be.

The credit for this design is all for srodge1. I changed a few details, but that is about it. White cake covered in buttercream. Horseshoes are from a chocolate mold, the horse, banners, and bandana are fondant. Thank you for looking :)

I had uploaded the two tiered cake earlier, but I wanted to also show the picture of the smash cake. This was for a party for two sisters who had birthdays with two days of each other so they had a joint party. Thanks for looking :P)

My try at making a cowboy hat cake. I used rolled fondant molded to the shape of my own hat brim and i used three 8" cake rounds, shaped to make the top of the hat. snow white buttercream on that, with a bit of color mist to cover up because the chocolate was visible through spots of the buttercream

This is a cake I made for a cousin's 13th birthday. I used the tutorial from cake central to help make the hat but just made it on a smaller scale to sit on top of the cake. She requested the lime green for the hat. I used MMF and buttercream for the decorations

I worked very hard at this and it took me forever. It was inspired by aine2. I really had no idea what I was doing so it took several attempts. I was pretty happy with it. It is going to go on top of a barn cake with animals for a party sunday.

This cake was the absolute hardest cake that I have ever made. I had so many challenges including the whole barn falling over. I was able to save it and the birthday girl was thrilled. It took me four days to make all the fondant figures because I just did a few every night. It was my first time using MMF and make figures. I learned a lot and had fun but I don't know if I'll make another barn cake! Thank you to everyone on cake central for all the great advice and help!!

All BC, star on top is craft foam (my RI star cracked!). Thanks to jackson and sugarshack for inspiration! All WASC but different flavors, 1 tier is choc, 1 tier is strawberry (with real strawberries but it made it very fall-y apart-y!) with seedless strawberry jam filling, and 1 tier is lemon with lemon pie filling. I can't remember what I filled the choc layers with!

I'd like to thank thecakemaker for the wonderful tutorial! It was so much easier that I thought it would be. I made mine with a 16" brim and the cake part was an 8" oval. The "M" is royal icing painted with old gold luster dust. The band was made with fondant with an extruder and painted gold, with gold dragee's. Learned lots, can't wait to try it again.

I made this for a friend's bday. She is a cowgirl and I wanted to follow that theme but this cake ended up nothing like I expected it to. I don't really know it if looks western at all but I was trying to do a cow print on the cake. I was then going to decorate with little figurines on top or at least some kind of picture of a cowgirl, but that didn't exactly come out! I somehow got a makeshift bow to hold though. Oh well, as long as it tastes good right?

This cake had to repaired due to a wreck when delivering. I knew better than to set it on the car seat. I had to slam on brakes as a car about 10 cars ahead hit the guardrail. The cake hit the floor and split. Most of the deco had to be repaired.
