French Vanilla 8" square tapered to look like a pillow. The texture of it is all Buttercream . I wanted it to look like Fleece , I couldn't find the technique anywhere so I just winged it ... I think it turned out pretty . My Daughter loved it .. The border is ribbon that matched her homemade Birthday Invitations .

I made this cake for my niece's 3rd birthday. She told me she wanted a cake to match her Halloween cowgirl costume (her birthday is 2 days after Halloween). 6" chocolate and 9" French Vanilla cakes. Buttercram icing with fondant details. Horse, dog, and girl figures are modeled from 50/50 fondant and gumpaste. The hardest part was putting the glasses on the little girl!

Here's my way of combining princess cowgirl and zebra print! Made this yummy cake for my cousin's bday. Top tier has my very first sugar tiara handpainted w/silver. Middle tier is suppose to resemble a girly bandana. Bottom tier has the oh so sassy zebra print w/a hot pink cowgirl belt w/pink sparklie glitter (can't tell by photo) w/handpainted silver buckle! Oh and I was playing around w/extra tall tiers. I was trying to feed just a few people, but she wanted a tall cake...teenage girls...lots of demands...j/k! :)

I am 11 - this was my first "professional cake" meaning I got paid for it. It was a pink lamb with a cowboy hat, and skirt and boots along with a ponytail. It was very fun to make.

The is a cowgirl theme topsy turvy cake. I did the cake in fondant and gumpaste. I used royal icing for the writing and swirl design. This was a 1st birthday cake so I also made a jumbo cupcake and cowgirl cookies for the favors.

I was given the invitation and asked to copy it. I was very happy with the end result. All BC and boots are fondant. Tinted piping gel used for the brown.

Cowgirl hat is 2 oval cakes, fondant covered (thanks for the directions on CC!). It took me 3 tries to make the brim - definitely use a 60/40 mix or all gumpaste as chocolate mmf was too soft. Bottom cake is 2 11 x 13 cakes (feeds lots of ppl, nice and big), belt buckle on front bottom with a fondant TX shape, stars on sides, horseshoes on top along with the Texas state flower, bluebonnet. The cake base was covered in a 1/2 yard of paisley fabric I picked up at the craft store. I printed the TX welcome sign and attached to 2 skewers to insert. Chocolate fondant ropes were on the sides and hat borders.

This cake gave me a bunch of trouble, I had to travel almost 2 hours with it and it di not hanle the car ride vey well esp. being in South Texas with the heat. So the fondant that was on the outside melted which is why you can see the colors in the BC, overall the girl loved it and it tasted ood which is what matters! It's white cake/strawberry filling.

This cake caused me some stress. Wanted to make two boots, ended up with one due to time constraints. Wanted the gift box to be more open so you could see part of the second boot inside it but ran out of fondant for tissue paper. Also wanted more items around the cake such as lipgloss, sunglasses, more jewelry. But came out ok in the end, just hope the one lonely boot doesn't look out of place. The heart pendant is there becasue the birthday girl's last name is Love nad she likes hearts.

Top tier is vanilla chocolate chip cake with chocolate ganache filling. It's covered in MMF and the bandana print is piped in BC. Jessie is a toy that the birthday girl's mom provided. The ropes are MMF as well.

This cake was designed by my 8 year old for her cowgirl birthday party. In addition to a praying cowgirl with cats, a smily face sun and a haystack with pitchfork ~ she memorizes Bible verses for our church Awana club and wanted to incorporate 1 Thes. 4:16 "......the voice of the archangel with the sound of the trumpet of God". So that is why the trumpet and hand of God is on there.
