This is my daughter's entry for the Carolina Cake Show, 2008. She won FIRST PLACE in the 8 & under division, I'm SO proud of her! Fondant animals, RKT barn, butter cookies stacked over a wooden dowel for the silo (sp?). She modeled it after one that I've done, which I got my inspiration from so many of you guys! Thanks CC family!!

This was a cake for my niece's first birthday, inspired by CC's own KELLO, who made a baby barnyard cake a few months back. It is all MMF, including the decorations & animal figures.

This cake was done for a friend's birthday. She had a Mexican themed party and she loves cows so this is what we came up with. We actually did the limbo at her party and had a great time! This was one of my most favorite cakes to create and it was my first time to create a figure out of fondant. It was a marble cake with bc icing, the cow, cacti, moroccos, beer bottle, margarita glass and the sombrero were all made from fondant.

Cake for Chase who turned 1! I did a small cow head for his smash cake. It's all buttercream icing with a few candies for accents. I put the little rubber bath toys on there so he would have something baby safe to play with afterwards. I used the Wilton house for the barn & a tin can for the silo & a jumbo cupcake for the silo top and a small cupcake for the haystack. The road is graham cracker crumbs. The garden dirt is oreos. The pig sits in chocolate sauce mud. I think this cake turned out really cute!

This was for a little girl's 2nd Birthday. Chocolate cake covered in butter cream. The cow, pig and chicken were all chocolate transfers. I got an email saying they absolutely loved it. TFL

I gave this cake as a gift to a dear friend of mine who so happened to love cows, and plays roller derby. The cows were made of fondant, and the railings of the rink were actually made from cow tail candies.

The cake was Texas-shaped on top of a sheet cake. I hand-molded the rattle snake, cow head, armadillo and astronaut. I hand-cut the Alamo. I used cookie cuters for boots, hats and Texas. The groom wanted a real Texas cowboy look with some of the cities in Texas on the cake. The only thing not edible is the flag. This was a lot of fun!!

My son is really into country life. So for his preschool birthday snacks I decided to make cow cupcakes for his class. These are just chocolate frosted cupcakes with frosting accents, marshmallow eyes, and tootsie roll horns. They were a big hit with the kids.

I was trying to make a cow, but didn't have a pictue to follow. I looks like a lamb with a cow bell or maybe a spotted lamb. I made it with rice krispies.

Made this cow cake for a fellow decorator who absolutely loves cows. The cow is gumpaste, the butterflies are printed on rice paper. Only the top layer is gold cake with BC.

I made this cake for my daughter's 3rd birthday with inspiration from all the terrific farm cakes on this site, but especially those by CustomCakesBySharon, jen1977, DianeLM, and KarenOR. Buttercream frosting, fondant/tylose animals, RKT barn covered in fondant. I'm still new at this so any constructive criticism is welcome. Thanks for looking!

Had a hard time with my icing on this one - I hate living in humid southern Louisiana! 2 tiered farm themed cake. Buttercream dream icing, MMF figures (done by my husband). Forgot my grass tip when I delivered/set up this cake so instead of grass around the top tier, they have sod!
Inspired by the many great farm cakes on this site, thanks!!

This was a chocolate cake and the barn and silo is a yellow cake. All of the farm animals are made from fondant. I couldn't figure out what to do around the side and my mom suggested the sky which worked prefectly because it matched the plates.

typical barnyard scene with royal icing piped animals. The child's favorite animal was an elephant so I incorporated it into the cake!

This cake is based on Adven68's cake...for my sister's twins' first bday. Gumpaste bows and cow/moon, MMF for the rest. Bottom was butter chocolate and top tier was golden vanilla. I'm really happy with how this one turned out. TFL!!

This client asked for a cow spotted cake, with a cow on top wearing a grad. hat and also wanted a diploma on it somewhere.
It sort of looked a cow standing on the back of a cow, but I am just a public servant. And I think it still turned out cute. The young graduate-cow-lover, loved it!
