All buttercream over white cake. Made for a balding farmer friend of my parent's. I accidently smashed the cake keeper lid on the cake. I could have cried--after all that work to make the frosting smooth!

This is a half of a sheet with buttercream icing. The animals, fence, tractor and veggies are all MMF. I had a hard time with the tractor and it didn't turn out exactly the way I wanted it but I think the animals made up for it.

this was my fist two tier cake made for my daughter's second birthday. a total disaster, nothing went right with this one, this was my first time making mmf fondant also, i took the recipe from this web site and followed it to the T and it was too soft and too sticky, i did something wrong with it. my cake was leaning to the side also it alsmost looked topsy turvy!! and after all frustration my daughter gave me a huge kiss and called it "super"!!
any sugestions how to make it better? thanks for looking!

I'm getting some use out of my ANIMAL CRACKERS pan! I used Laffy Taffy for her horns, Jr. Mints for her eyes. I gave her an ice cream cone covered in crushed Jolly Ranchers for a party hat. Very fun!

BC with white cake layer and chocolate cake layer. Topper is made from fondant. This cake was for my baby brother's 5th birthday. He wanted a calf roper and this is what I came up with. My bandana pattern still needs alot of work. I got the idea from several talented decorators on this site....THANKS!

My SIL is an Ag Teacher and her school was doing an Animal Clip day. This was a day for the students to bring up their farm animals up to the school to get them groomed. I did a FBCT for the cow picture.

Party favors for a barnyard theme. I have to admit, I love the cow. I sweated and sweated over how to do him, but love the way he came out.

Chocolate barn cake, vanilla cupcakes all done in buttercream. Made for my niece's birthday party. The party was a weenie roast at a 100 yr. old farm, hence the barn and my niece is crazy about pigs! Thanks for looking!

This idea was taken from "Family Fun". I spruced it up by adding MMF accents. This cake is iced smooth with buttercream. Pans used were 9" round, half of a ball pan (cut to size) and 3 cupcakes (2 for feet, 1 cut in half for ears). Ears are held in place by toothpicks.

The animals and scene were created to match a bedding set that the new mother had registered for. I borrowed the cow/bird and the sheep off the comforter.

My version of Boween's barnyard celebration cake....Fist time doing a 3d cake, not too hard, i glued a plastic support rod to a cake board and stacked the cakes onto the rod for added support...Body was baked in a pyrex bowl, and the head is the sports ball pan...buttercream w/fondant accents. Lots of fun, and the bday boy loved it!! TFL

This girl had to have a cake carved in the shape of a cow. Not just a cow picture on a sheet cake. She wanted cream colored icing and brown spots. She chose my hazelnut cake from the WBH. This cake was a royal PITA. Took me all day long. But it's finally done! Complete with beat up copper cowbell with the letter "B" on it.

This cake was for my daughter's 4th birthday. She is in love with all things cowgirl, so we picked this cake from a combination of other cakes on this site. All MMF, except the boot on top and the flowers, which are gumpaste. A million thanks to everyone else with a western/cowgirl theme...I couldn't have done it without your inspiration!

I made this cake for my husband to take to work. His staff are reading "Purple Cow: Transform Your Business by Being Remarkable" by Seth Godin. After he held a discussion about the book, they had the cake, which was "remarkable" because the cake itself was actually purple! It was white cake with FBCT cow and cow hide.

This was for a little girls b-day. It was my second attempt at this cake. I added a mud pit for the pig and had a pond in the back for the duck. You can see some of the pond in the left corner.
