I made this for FIL's 81'st birthday! I really had fun making the haybales, LOL! But this picture clearly shows why I do NOT write on cakes unless it was stenciled, LOL!

Made for a friend who just inherited a cow farm. They are having a Christmas party tonight and requested "something Christmas-y, with a cow". My husband didn't see it at first, but the snout is the big part, it's like those illusion pictures kind of, haha :) Loved the general design and will definitely do again. "Berries" are red m&ms, and the whole wreath is dusted with luster dust.

Made this for the children's church's Birthday Party for Jesus. The idea was borrowed from Eight, so I take no credit for the design. The humans, stars and cow are all fondant, and the cakes are all iced in chocolate and vanilla BC. The dirt path is crushed Nilla wafers, the stable and manger are made from pretzel sticks with fondant boards, the straw is dyed coconut shavings, and the sheep are fondant bases with BC "wool." Aine2's hands tutorial was INVALUABLE in making this. Seriously.

yellow cake covered in chocolate buttercream. Looked off internet picture to pipe out the cow outline. Couple who ordered cake are huge A&M fans so cow is branded with that emblem. Man who ordered the cake wanted "Mooey Birthday" written on it. :) Thanks for looking!

This was for my grandpa's 80th birthday party. We own a family run dairy, that is what the cows and milk cans represent. It was a surprise and he loved it. The cows and milk cans are fondant (my first time making figures) and the sign is fondant wrote with the edible markers. The cake is buttercream icing. The wheat looking grass is silk. Thanks for looking

I traded this cake and $75 for my website to be professionally done. I think it was worth it. They requested the tractor and black cows.

All decorations are MMF. All I was told was that the birthday woman loved farm animals and the cake needed to be big enough to feed 15 people. I didn't have a clue what to make so I snooped around the gallery at farm cakes and saw a lot of super cute cow cakes and decided to try to do one of those. I think it came out okay, the folks who ordered it thought it was amazing.

This cake was made with love for my niece's 2nd birthday. The party was a western theme with a girly twist. The cake was inspired by "cakecentral" and the color scheme was designed to match the invitations. I had so much fun making this cake, it was my first BIG cake and my first time decorating with fondant accents.

I made this cake for my youngest grandsons 1st Birthday. The Barn and cylo is vanilla cake and the sheet cake is chocolate. I made the cylo using a tomato sauce can and for the top of it I used the mini sports ball pan, covered in butter cream dream icing and all the details are done in fondant.

Very simple mooo cow! Just an 8 inch round and a 4 inch round pan. The ears were made with cup cakes and frozen so they'd ice better.

This cake was said to be for a woman that went to work on Halloween dressed in a cow suit that had a big utter. I heard the ladies at her job loved the cake. Hopefully she got a laugh from it.

The birthday party was in a BBQ restaurant and the client wanted a haystack with little haystack cupcakes. The large one is the wonder mold on top of a carved 10" piped with the grass tip. The smaller ones didn't come out as good because I didn't use the mini wonder molds, just upside-down cupcakes.

I made these cakes for my son's 2nd birthday. They both consist of a round cake pan for the base, the Wilton ball pan for the head, and cupcakes for the legs. The pig also has a cupcake for its snout.

This was the barn I made for American Cake Decorating Magazine. It was my firs article and it was in the Dec., 2007 issue. Everything is edible. There are too many techniques to list here. The photo was taken by TooMuchCake's son. He did a great job. I was very honored and excited to be asked to an article for ACD.
