This was for a little girl's 2nd birthday celebration. All the characters on the cake are made of sugar. Elmo is her favorite, so he is on top........"Happy Birthday" is in a crayon style to represent Elmo's crayon skills during his segment of Sesame Street called "Elmo's World".

My first attempt at decorating cookies. It was alot of fun! These were for my son's preschool teachers. We aren't allowed to bring anything that isn't store bought for the kids, but they never mentioned the teachers! HA HA In delivering them-through the school- I got two orders for cakes!

I was invited to a dinner party this Friday, and thought I'd try again to make edible image cookies. These are the hosts, and I think they came out alot better than the last ones. The image is clearer, and I learned alot about royal icing and the different thicknesses. Cronstructive criticism alway welcome

I made these for my daughter's kindergarten & my son's preschool Dr Seuss's Birthday class parties on March 2nd. They are no fail sugar cookies with Antonia's royal icing. I'm still seeing red & white stripes in my sleep, LOL!!

No-Fail sugar cookies with Alice's cookie icing. Not as good a job as I had hoped for my first attempt, and I have to learn not to put my fingers too close to unset icing!

This idea came stright from this website. The only difference was that I rolled out MMF and cut the same design with the same cookie cutter. It made for a very smooth surface to decorate. Then I added all details with royal frosting.

Blue sugar cookie dough glued together with royal icing (and strengthened with melted chocolate on one side of each cookie) then filled with cornflakes mixed with marshmallow creme (dyed blue), complete with a cookie swimmer! For my brother-in-law's birthday and a horrible representation of the image of what it would look like in my mind! I am tempted to try again and do better.

I made these for fun and to try new things like: squeeze bottles, multi colors, parchment bags, luster dust, etc. I had a lot of fun. The icing harden more than the last batch. I don't know why. Any suggestions?

I made these for a friends bridal shower. They were a huge hit! We also gave them away as prizes. My sister decorated the pots and I did the rest. I also made the medium size cookie as favors for each person. It was a lot of cookies, but a lot more fun. They were decorated with Americolor markers.

So, I thinned out my icing and these look better to me. The cloud ones were my sons idea and the roses on two of them are starburst roses. I love making those. TASTY!

.....am getting there. The outlines of the bunny turned out sloppy because the icing was too thick/dry, but figured it out by the time I got to the chicks. I see that I need to put more icing inside the outlines so it pillows up a bit. Also need to improve my eyeball drawing - yikes!
