My little guy's second birthday cake. The design is based on the cakes by liis and kaz79. My favorite part is that *he* loved it and kept running to it to check out the elephant and lion!!!

you have to really dilute the colors to reduce the visibility of the overspray.
the shape of the top was made from the scraps (cake tops) cut off the lower layers

WASC, Chocolate Mocha & White chocolate cake. Almond/Butter & Cheesecake Buttercream. Fondant accents. I wanted fondant balls, but had had enough by that point. This was my first stacked & first whimsical cake. Unfortunately, it ended up crashing when I tried to put the center dowel in. Thankfully the party was canceled b/c of snow (just family anyway). But I learned a lot from this cake. It took forever, but all in all was fun! TFL

This was my daughters 1st birthday cake, and the first decorated cake I ever made. I could not find JoJo's Circus anywhere. I actually used store bought decorator icing with a start tip and piped the images. I used a chocolate sugar icing, with chocolate cake. Tasted great!

Created for a little boy's birthday, this cake was a 10 inch with 6 in
stacked on top. The 6 inch was covered with fondant so that I
could paint on the stripes. Clowns were made by baking a few
mini ball cakes and cutting them in half. TFL!! God Bless!

This was my entry for the Mid Atlantic Cake Show. This was my first realy cake competition. The bottom and top are 12x2 rounds and the middle are four 6" hexagons. THere is a 1 1/2 dowel thru the middle that is screwed into the bottom and top board for support. For the horses I made a mod and then molded them with gumpaste. Each horse was decorated differently. The majority of the pieces on the cake were gumpaste or fondant. The pics on the bottom cake were hand painted. TFL

The elephants were cut free-hand from MMF to match the invitation. I used a clay mold for the animal heads around the top (that you can't see... should I post another pic?). Rainbow cake.

This cake was fun, but I still don't like clowns... Would definitely do it again, but maybe with circus animals instead.

This cake was for a friend's grandson's 1st birthday party. The top layerwas formed from the Wilton's Ultimate Belle Pan. The pan is so nice the cake looks good undecorated. Loved how the cake came out but it was a lot of work.

a lady ordered this cake from me for her son who was told that this would be his last birthday, he has a seizure disorder that has caused serious health problems, he is now blind, cannot walk along with much more. so their church threw him a blowout 10th birthday party with all the carnival theme stuff from animals to games. Inspite of all his problems he still smiles and had a blast., I WAS HONORED TO BE ASKED TO MAKE HIS CAKE.

This cake was for a "6 month" Birthday. It sounds silly but it is a tradition in my friend's family. Her mother had a many miscarriages. so when she was blessed with a healthy child, 6 months was not too soon for a celebration! She continued this with each of my friend's younger siblings. Although my friend had no problem getting pregnant, it was a tradition she wanted to keep!

The cupcakes aren't very creative, but they go along with a circus train cake that I made. The cupcakes are yellow cake with cream cheese icing. I used Wilton color spray to spray them orange and blue, and little Wilton candy animals. The cupcakes have Wilton decorations, but I made the animals on the train cake in my gallery
