First cake I ever made without. I hadn't taken any classes at the time. I had no tools except for a few plastic tips, used ziplock bags to pipe. Used grocery store food colors (which are very watery). Got the recipe for icing from the internet, turned out very thin because of the watery food colors.

I had fun designing this one while I made it. His last name is "Cherry" hence the theme. It was a surprise birthday for a very nice man. The cake was black forest inside....his favorite. Devil's food cake with non dairy whipped cream and cherry pie filling in the middle.

A brownie cupcake, topped with cherry pie filling, with choc BC icing piped out, then topped with drizzled, melted white chocolate. I do a monthly board meeting catering for about 15 people and they let me experiment on them with new items!

I was inspired by my DD little sundress and I decided to make it in cake form. The top layer is supposed to represent eyelet. Chocolate cake and Mint Lover's Chocolate cake covered in BC and MMF. Gumpaste cherries. I had fun with this. It reminds me of summer.

This was my hubby's request for our bdays :) Chocolate cake with cherry pie filling and "iced" with a chocolate ganache. I also dipped some marachino cherries in chocolate melts and put those on top too. Its an 8" cake. I *heart* chocolate ganache :)

White Cake covered in buttercream with fondant decorations. The "suaces" are chocolate melts. I don't really like the way the "carmel" turned out. Donated this to my sons school to raffle off.

I can't believe my cherries leaked! I had them draining forever and even hand dried each and every one of them. Woke up this morning and found juice running all down the side. Customer loved it, but I was so disappointed. It was done for a little girl who was turning 13 and wanted LOTS of cherries. She designed this cake herself, I just created it. Two tiers are chocolate and the top is white.

I had to do a quick cake for a pot luck so I made a chocolate fudge bundt cake, topped it with french vanilla cream, drizzled it with chocolate ganache and maraschino cherries. The filling is a sweet cherry filling with extra kirsch thrown in. TFL

I made this cake for my mom, she loves Mary Engelbreit, and loves cherries, so it's a good combo. The cake was Red Velvet with an Almond Buttercream icing. All the decorations, including the cherries are fondant. The stems were from real cherries. Enjoy, and Thanks for looking!

This is a cake I made for my mom's birthday. It's my first chocolate wrap! Thanks to Sarsi and ShirleyW for the great instructions and all of the photos on here. The bottom layer is an Almond Joy cake - coconut cake with chocolate ganache filling and almond buttercream. The top is lemon cake with blueberry cheese filling and lemon buttercream. It's topped off with blueberries, cherries, and fresh picked raspberries.

This cake was ordered by a lady (in her age). I wanted to make a crazy cake but I had to pull myself up :-) The cake was filled with cherries that were compoted in an alcohol :-D and inside of cake mixed with a cream..yummy :-D Thank you for looking

I made this cake for my uncle's retirement party. Its 3 layers of chocolate cake filled and iced with whipped cream. Drizzled with milk chocolate and decorated with chocolate covered fresh cherries and Hershey bars.

I have a friend who loves cherries so I thought...why not a cherry shaped cake?! The cherry is made from a ball pan and the top carved out for definition. The black cake is a 10" chocolate cake. TFL!!

This was a white cake with a strawberry filling covered in buttercream. It has small strawberries and cherries on the side. The flowers were cut out of fondant. It took about 13hrs to make.
