This is a 10inch Texas Turtle cake with chcolate Buttercream and Chocoalte Ganache and walnut and Cherries on top, also chocolate candy piped in designs cooled and stuck on the cake, very fun to do and very yummy!!!

This cake was a variation on the Black Forest gateaux theme. It had 12 layers, including three 12 inch round dutch chocolate kirsch-infused cake layers, three layers of dark chocolate ganache, a layer of cherry/choc mousse, belgian chocolate buttercream, a cherry ripe chpocolate cookie base, cherry brandy conserve, sour morello cherries in thickened syrup, and topped with fresh whipped cream, grated belgian chocolate and toasted sliced almonds. The plaque and roses were made from white chocolate clay with piped ganache inscription that says "Happy 80th Birthday Maria" in Polish. Also - an embossed heart dark chocolate collar with whipped ganache base border. I challenged myself with this one - using no recipes! TFL :-)

Adam is the band director at a near by school...... he LOVES cheese cake..... Crust is made from ground chocolate covered graham crackers, topped with cheese cake, then a layer of chocolate ganche, and cherry pie filling. The entire cake is surrounded by Lady Fingers........ The instruments are chocolate, and painted gold with gold luster dust, and sprinkled with gold disco dust..... The ribbon sports musical notes and is NOT edible.....

While designing Jubilee's 1st birthday cake, I was told that Baskin Robbins has an ice cream flavour called cherries jubilee and that her mom and dad are reminded of their precious little girl everytime they have it. What better way to celebrate this special occasion than a larger than life scoop of ice cream with a small cherry to complete the look.

This cake was for my father's birthday. I made a rich devil's food chocolate cake, filled it with imported Italian maraschino cherries (not the kind from the jar) that had soaked in brandy overnight, and frosted with a white buttercream flavored with kirschwasser (cherry flavored liqueur). I piped large stars around the sides and middle and topped each with a jarred maraschino cherry, then used very fine chocolate shavings to dust the top.

My 'Start of Spring' cake. White Chocolate Mudcake with White Chocolate buttercream and Sour Cherry Jam on top. The Jam was made from boiled Sour Cherries straight off my trees in my yard. YUM!

Thanks for all the great ideas here on CC! Carved cone with mini ball cakes for the ice cream scoops. Cakes covered in BC with MMF accents (banana, chocolate, cherries, etc) TFL!

Birthday cake for my mom who loves cherries. I used Wilton Sugar Sheets for the red stripes. I didn't care for them. I thought they would be like fondant, but they were more like cardboard, and the color was not a vivid red, but kinda washed out. The cherries on top were made from candy clay and the ones on the side are Mary Engelbreit cake decorations.

Super rushed cake that I put together today for the kiddies - no alcohol inside this one! 6" caramel mud cake filled with milk chocolate ganache. Decorated with fondant iPhone apps, retro cherries and flowers to match my main cake. The white 'sticks' are candles :)

cherries and blueberries are fondant, colored piping gel for the gooey part around the "fruit," and the "crust" is fondant.

One of the linedancers loved the turkey I made for our Christmas party so much that he asked me to make him one for Christmas day. I tried to make it different from the first one and I think it turned out well. I am so happy with the apples and beans wrapped with bacon as those were first time attempts. :D Thanks for looking.

i made this for a fundraiser at my sons school. it is plain sponge with vanilla butter cream filling. it is the first time i have done a fondant covered cupcake and i had to put the pink balls on to cover the gaps between the fondant and the white chocolate shell but it looks ok :)

I got a last minute request for cupcakes for my son's school valentine's party; and being the crazy woman that I am, I just couldn't deliver "plain" cupcakes (where's the fun in that?). So, off I went to make some cherry love cupcakes. 28 cupcakes, alternating chocolate & cherry cheesecake flavors, topped with ganache, SMBC, & fondant cherries & banners. Plus one floral cupcake for his teacher, at my son's request. Not my cleanest work (I would've loved to spend more time & get the lettering neater), but for a product out the door in three hours, I was pleased.
