I was having a hard time thinking of a cake to make for a woman at my husbands work. I had never met her. Thanks to _ChristyB_ I made this version of her cake. I tried to make it a little different so that it would be unique. I think that everyone will like it!!

Here is the cake I did for my neice's graduation from Michigan State University. Done in the school colors. My neice's only request was for yummy cake that looked amazing - and lots of dragees! I used fondant on the top with fondant decorations and yes, lots and lots of dragees

Made this at the beginning of school. One sheet cake and 1 large book cake. Apple is 2 cupcakes that were carved. Pencil is fondant and gumpaste. Worm, though silly looking, is gumpaste. Fun cake, glad it's done.

This is a cake i did for an early father's day celebration. My inspiration came from looking at a Christy's Cakes. I loved the colors. It is a black and white cake with french vanilla mousse and an orange scented buttercream icing with fondant decorations.

This is a full sheet I donated for the Cincoteague Volunteer Fire Company's 82nd Annual Carnival & Pony Swim After Party. The Fire Company patch was done using a frozen buttercream transfer. Each corner represents an aspect of the Fire Company and over 200 people saw this cake. I was able to take 15 orders for cakes from this. I have over 12 hours of work in this cake.

This is a dummy cake used for a preschool class. What a fantastic idea! The teacher uses the dummy cake to celebrate each student's birthdays.
Fondant covered cake with gumpaste party hat and twirlies. Pearlized. Candle holders were salvaged. Colors had to be nuetral for boys and girls.

This was my first attempt at Fondant....good grief. My daughter had a school contest last year to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Dr. Suess's incredible books. So this is what we came up with, We won a $5.00 certificate to Teacher's Delight for the cake. Didn't cover the cost of the material, but it made her thrilled to say the least! And for my first attempt and the top hat collapse the previous night and restructure, I think it's not so bad. LOL

Co-worker is donating kidney to her mother and we had a kidney themed party. Chocolate cake, buttercream icing. Also had "cake-balls" dusted in powdered sugar in a jar on the side (not pictured) to represent kidney stones.
