client put in a last minute order for a cake for her grandson. my schedule was open, so i decided to see if i could help out. she said his parents had bought him legos as a present and that he has a stuffed puppy that he sleeps with. i decided to combine the two, and this is what i came up with. white sour cream cake with cookies and creme filling. gumpaste legos and fondant blanket with "embroidered" name and birthdate in corner.

This is the cake i made for my sons 5th birthday. It was also my first time carving cakes. It was supposed to be curious george but i don't think i captured him right (it just looks like a regular monkey lol) My son said "curious george" and kissed it when he saw it so i guess that is all that matters in the end.

I did this cake in WASC with all buttercream. This cake is known in my house as the
"Stupid Monkey Cake". I was not happy with the way he turned out but the
customer was thrilled with him. So I guess that counts for something.
Thanks for Looking!! :)

5 10" round cakes were carved into a Jack-o'-lantern. I wanted his face to be skull like.. I think I got the effect.
I covered the cake in fondant sculpted then airbrushed. (my second time airbrushing a cake)Butter cream witches brew with fondant bubbles that were airbrushed as well. With sugar flames around the base of the cauldron (cake stand) and tea lights to add to the flame effect

I made this Scooby Doo cake at the request of a lady from my bank, but I think it looks more like Scrappy Doo personally. I didn't have enough room for his nose to be bigger, so he looks like a puppy. He's cute though. He was covered with chocolate icing & very little buttercream (for colored parts only).

Carved, drawn free-hand from 11x15. Chocolate with cream cheese filling. BC. Not an fbct. Didn't have time to do anything with the board, so it's kind of boring, but everyone loved the cake.

I used an 8 inch round cut in half for the bottom of the lipstick tube. Then used a sheet cake to cut out the rest. Covered the cake in MMF and decorated the board. I think next time to make it look more realistic, I will use smaller rounds cut in half to make the tube. Thanks for looking!
