This is the cake that I made for my daughter's 4th birthday party. She had a tea party with only about 11 kids so it didn't have to be that big. I used the ball pan, covered in fondant, fondant for wheels also. I made this in the middle of a slumber party with 9 kids, I'm surpised it came out so well, I could have done a lot more detail just ran out of time. I should also say it was inspired by some other cakes on cc.

All decorated with RI. Some of the designs need a bit of work. The carriages are my favorite but I tried piping some edging and it came out so sloppy. Never decorated the pregnant woman before (see no hands!). YIKES!

I had been wanting to make this cake since I saw a picture of it and finally someone needed a shower cake! I used Candy Clay for the baby's face and bow, its much easier than royal.

I was asked to make grand cake for a sweet 16 birthday party. This is it. The cake is french vanilla and gold with buttercream frosting and fondant. The top ribbon is fondant with rhinestone-type jewels for a bit of sparkle. There are colored chocolate diamonds surrounding the top cake with a fabric ribbon The carriage is made of gum-paste and poured sugar. I used brass wire to hang candy jewels that I made.
I would just like to thank all the people here at CC who share their wonderful tips and ideas.

I love cut-out cookies; these were my first for a baby shower. Thank you to everyone who posted pictures of their cookies; I took a lot of inspiration from them.

I just finished the Wilton Courses and this is really the first cake that I had a customer for. It was for a dual shower. One woman was having a boy and the other a girl. I did the entire cake in buttercream with the faces from colorflow puddles.

The carriage is a two layer cake made in a wilton oval pan (like the one used for course 2). The blanket and face are rolled buttercream, the primroses are royal, and the rest is regular buttercream

This is the cake I made for my twin daughters' baby dedication. In the baby carriages, I put pieces of pink satin so it would look like the carriages were lined.

All BC icing. Had to hand carve the cake because I didn't have time to order the pan. I really liked the way the cake turned out and so did the client.

This was a fun and bright cake for a baby girl shower. Easy enough to trace the baby carriage outline on the cake and then fill in the canopy with white cornelli lace, and the basket bottom covered in basketweave. All trimmed out in bright pink and lots of drop flowers. Sides were covered with complementing ruffles and swags like some of what is on the carriage. A fun and easy cake to do, too

I used a cake from this site for inspiration. I didn't have things lined uo exactly right, but I am pretty happy with how it turned out and the family loved it.

This is a 3 tier yellow cake, using the petal pans, all done in buttercream. The turrets are from pvc pipes, towers from ice cream cones--both of which are frosted and covered in cake sparkles (the kids fought over the cones at the party lol). I accented with baby pink roses and vines, and the carriage (a pricy one from Wilton with keepsake case) was the little girls gift.
