This cake gave me fits from the get go. It has tons of mistakes and flaws. Fortunately it was for a friend and she didn't see a single one. Thanks to all who have done this cake. I just wish I could have done it as well as all of you.

Thanks to Sarahscakes for the idea. This is my attempt to recreate her beautiful design. Not quite as nice but I am pleased. It was for my baby sisters first baby, it made me feel old! Thanks for looking.

Got inspiration from folks on here, especially pbertone1005. This was my first time trying basketweave, ruffles, squiggles, fondant, and gumpaste... and really my third cake I've decorated yet. It was a labor of love and I'm happy with how it turned out. It was for my sister-in-law's baby shower (unknown gender).. everything was BC except blanket, blocks (fondant), and bear (gumpaste). I used yellow cake with BC and raspberry jam filling. Used 10.5x14 pan for bottom layers (2) and one 10in round for hood.

Inspired by Socake - I haven't seen the original Debbie Brown. The wheels and twirly things the mice sit on are gum paste, everything else is decorated with fondant. This was very fun to make. Apparently the birthday girl stole and ate the shoe right before the party!

View of baby carriage's lower suspension over cake to permit free rotating wheels. The expectant mother requested a German chocolate cake. I was able to give her that in the bottom 12" square cake. The top baby carriage was also German chocolate with the typical coconut/pecan/condensed milk filling and a buttercream icing.

This was a complicated cake to make.... since I really struggle with fondant when covering different shapes. It was strawberry cake with white chocolate filling and fondant covering. Natali loved it!
