I did this for my daughter's third birthday. Two bundt cakes to form pumpkin, devils food pumpkin cake, chocolate buttercream, mmf carriage, window, and door (pink) with pink pearl dust, fondant wheels & topper (brown) with bronze pearl dust. Painted curtains with water and pink pearl dust. This was a joy to make.

My DH made the wooden base for me. I put dowels attached to the base so I just slid the cakes on- then I knew they wouldn't slide. 3 layers, basket weave in BC. RI shade and handle made a week ahead of time. RI flowers and real toys for the mama to keep. Rolled BC blanket, marked with a fondant cutter, sprayed yellow.

Thank you to Sugarnut for the pattern for the carriage and horses in the gallery. These are made from royal icing. They are dry brushed with pearl dust to give them some shimmer. The mommy to be was so happy. I also did a castle cake to go with this one. The carriage was to deliver the new princess to her new castle.

I made this for a friend, didn't want to make it too cutesy, it's not her style. The cake is WASC with Raspberry filling on the bottom and lemon cream filling on the top layer. Iced in almond buttercream, accents are chocolate transfers.

I used the Wilton's ball pan to create the carriage. It is a vanilla cake with nutella filling. I then baked another 8 inch round chocolate fudge cake to put the carriage on it, so that it will look like the grass.
All the details are either made with fondant or royal icing. The wheels took about 24 hours to dry out.

This cake was inspired by KC2BeAgain, so I will not take credit for the design. My first actual sold cake for a cousin, she was very happy when she saw it! 12 in Banana Cake and 2- 6in Chocolate wheels. Vanilla buttercream and Chocolate Hazelnut Buttercream.

This cake was a birthday cake for my niece. Cinderella and the decorations are all fondant. I wanted a "different" looking cake, so I decided to make the top larger than the bottom. I painted the fondant using petal dusts and vodka. To see more pics, go to: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=277627301

All is MMF. I still can't make for fondant look like it was poured on. With no wrinkles. But am going to keep trying.
