Wilton replica. Spongbob was molded in a cake pan with confectionary coating and decorated in buttercream (instead of fondant as in the Wilton Yearbook).

Hamburger Cake. Top bun is white/vanilla cake w/vanilla buttercream. Meat is chocolate cake w/chocolate buttercream and a few chocolate cake crumbs for "grilled" texture. Bottom bun is funfetti cake w/vanilla buttercream. Mustard is also vanilla buttercream Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato & Onions are all made out of fondant. Tomato seeds are toasted sesame seeds. My favourtire type of cake to decorate! All carved out of floral foam. Single 7/8 inch wooden dowel in the center, secured into wooden base. Measures about 18" high. The relish was made of green fondant, painted on one side, cut up into squares, then some piping gel on top for shine. The beef was made by cutting thin circles of fondant, folding and stacking them, painting the edges a darker brown, then adding shine with gelatin. Real cinnamon sugar on the donuts. :)

So here is my first attempt into the cake decorating world. I was fairly pleased. Yellow cake covered in MMF for the "bun" and Brownie for the "patty" Colored fondant for the cheese lettuce and tomatoes with a little vanilla frosting for mayo.

I looked at several here on Cake Central and thought I would give it a try. THey are really very easy! I'm so glad I tried it. Hopefully next time they will be a little cleaner looking but these will do. :) I <3 this site!

burgers a la bakerella! i'll have to give the sugar cookie fries a shot some time in the spring/summer. these were super easy... didn't even need a piping bag for the buttercream ketchup, mustard and lettuce!

I made this for my little sister's birthday.. spongebob is RKT (first time using RKT and the recipe i found on this side is just lovely), the crabpatty is layered chocolate cake with chocolate filling. please comment as its my first time making both a burger and a 3d character

Got the idea from a fellow CC'er! Mini Wendy's burgers for a friends daughters 13th birthday. They were delivered along with real Wendy's frostys.

Cheeseburger cake, I did the bottom bun in butterbream icing,all inside done in buttercream except the onion and it is fondant, covered top bun in fondant and brushed bun color on , added buttercream seeds on top.

Got another request to make these for work. Buns are yellow cupcakes cut in half with sesame seeds on top, burger is choclate cupcakes (filled only a little in the tin), condiments are frosting and the fries are sugar cookies. TFL

Did this hamburger cake for my nephews cake walk at school. 6" small for the burger and bottom bun and half the wilton ball pan for the top bun. Tomatoes, cheese and onions are mmf and the lettuce is icing. Tfl :)

This was for a customer who could only tell me that her 16yr old liked all sports.(????) So I came up with the ideal of a sports grill. Inside is carrot cake with cream cheese icing.TFL

My first burger cake, I had so much fun making this cake! It was a huge hit. I love that it still looked just like a burger when we cut into it... The burger is chocolate cake with chocolate icing and crumbled choc graham crackers. The bun is yellow cake with buttercream, airbrushed color. The condiments are a variety of icing, fondant and candy.

made this for my burger lovin' husband, was my first (and only) burger, buns are white cake, burger is chocolate and everything is either fondant covered or hand sculpted from fondant, the cheese looked so real I had a hard time believing it myslef, lol. please feel free to leave comments or questions!
