My neice turned 7 and she wanted Jonas Borthers theme. I decided on this cake, but it needed to be girly, so I made it pink. It's Vanilla w/vanilla buttercream. I used Marshmallow fondant peices and silver luster dust mixed with clear vanilla for the silver. She loved it!!

My son's 6th Bday cake, he wanted Mario Cart. Fondant, MMF & regular. Buttercream grass. My 8yr DD helped by molding some of the extra figures & items (mushroom, block, squid).

Yes, my awesome sis made this cake, too! This is one of my favorites! She did such an awesome job on this, very good detail. It is mostly fondant with some icing details.

This cake was made for one of my preschool moms. It is a buttercream with a high ratio shortening and butter. The sugar image was from the cover of a teen's magazine. Yes, they wanted the lyrics of the song on the cake. This is actually a duplicate of a cake they found on line. Not an original for me. Sorry!

This was actually the first of two cakes I accidently booked for the same day! The kids freaked out when they saw this, but oddly enough, the grown ups were even more excited! It was fun to make, and nostalgic for me!

I think my husband got a few more grey hairs when our 7 yr old daughter requested her birthday cake to have Nick Jonas on it! She picked out the design and color scheme. The top and bottom tiers are dummies; I wish I hadn't of rushed the middle tier...it probably wouldn't of come out so lumpy! TFL!

Mario Galaxy for my son's 5th birthday.
Base - star pan, marbled buttercream done with striping technique - purple and black. Covered in edible glitter. Would use fondant if I had to do over again.

Mushrooms, ? boxes, and coins - all fondant
World - grass tip, fondant coins, drop flowers.
Mario and Luigi - figurines purchased at local toy store

This cake make for my friend's daughter's birthday. She happened to love the Jonas Brothers and attend their concert at her birthday. It was quite a challenge but I really loved it. I hope you'll like it as well.

Bottom is a 1/2 sheet cut & stacked & covered in BC. Top is a 6" carved & covered in MMF. Done to match the partyware & did Luigi's hat because child's name was Luke. TFL!

The cake I made for my niece turning 10. Her favorite Jonas brother is Nick, so I found a picture of him and attached it to a fondant "frame." 6 inch cake on top of a one layer 8 inch cake. Buttercream with mmf hearts and stripes. Thanks for looking.

all fondant with fondant accents . i used 2 - 8" cakes for the bottom and 1/2 sports ball pan for the mushroom and 3 stacked 3" for the stem of the mushroom . it was a big hit at the party

Thanks to "dragonflydoces" for this idea. Cake is covered in buttercream and decorated with hand made decorations. All decorations are made of fondant and gumpaste. Thanks for looking!

This cake was done in buttercream with fondant accents. All the accents with the exception of the "5" are done in fondant. The "5" was done in gumpaste.

Mushroom is WSC with vanilla buttercream. Bottom layers are also WSC with strawberry mousse filling. Inspired by lots of cakes on CC. The birthday boy was very happy with it. He loves the mushroom people from the game.

Cake was for Wii tournament party. Wii remote is made out of rice krispy treats, iced & covered in fondant. Wii game image was printed on rice paper. Mario, mushrooms and all other decorations were made out of fondant or gumpaste.

3 tiered cake. 1st tier is strawberry cake with chocolate mouse filling. 2nd tier is chocolate cake with banana cream filling. 3rd tier is WASC with strawberry filling. This cake was for my friends 8 yr old daughter.

This was for my son's 5th b-day (duh) party. He loves Mario Brothers so I did a 1-up mushroom cake! Dark Choc. 5" round stem and yellow / funfetti cap. Covered in MMF - was a big hit with the kiddies!

Birthday cake for two brothers, 9 and 10. It's my version of the Mario Galaxy cake by DC0630. Base was made with Wilton star pan with black and blue buttercream, striped in bag then smeared while I made my best attempt at smoothing. Ball part was made with Wilton sports ball pan, covered using grass tip. Coins and stars are marshmallow fondant, buttercream flowers were made with star tip then applied after drying. Figures on top and sides (Mario and the electrogoombas) were ordered online. It was my first cake so there are tons of mistakes, but I am still pleased with how it came out and the kids loved it.

All covered with MMF. Mario and Luigi are toy keepsakes. Star is gumpaste. Had some trouble covering the toad top with MMF. Other than that, it was fun to do and my son loved it!

Made for a good friends birthday. Icing was buttercream. Used as base and accents. All characters made from mmf. Fun to do, but a lot of time! :)
