Four tiers of pound cake with buttercream filling and icing. Gum paste roses, violets and apple blossoms. Family heirloom bride and groom toppers first stood on top of bride's grandmother's wedding cake. This was my first wedding cake and I was surprised how heavy it was when finished.

My first attempt at modeling. The bride had to be recreated the day before the bridal shower. I made her so heavy that she was bending over. The second bride came out much, much better. Bridesmaid idea of a mock wedding cake showing the bride from her crawling days til she's dragging the groom to the altar.

A Kindergarten Teacher was engaged to be married and her class was throwing her a Bridal Shower. One of the students, drew a picture of their teacher with her new husband. I took the picture and duplicated it on the cake for their party.

The bride said she wanted a black & white wedding cake for 50 people, with the bride and groom topper she supplied. She didn't really care what I did with it. So I had a bit of fun.

I did these as a gift for my girlfriends wedding. The wedding cake I did was all dummies since they are having a 'huge' desert table following dinner so I thought I'd surprise them with these real cakes - just for fun! Design inspired by Kayla1505's cupcakes :)

Top tier is white choc mud with raspberry filling, bottom is dark choc mud; both covered in fondant. The bride and groom met through their running club so are dressed in club colours - as is their baby daughter. Figurines are gumpaste/fondant.

This is the Bride and Groom class that I will be teaching in Austin in August. If you have a look in my Flickr you will see the details on the back of her dress, I didn't want to upload too many photos of different angles here. Enjoy!

A co-worker of mine asked me to make these cakes for her sister's bridal shower. Apparently her sis didn't want anyone to touch the cakes they were "too pretty to eat" LOL Hope you like them. All comments welcome. TFL!

I was so impressed with the decorated bride and groom cookies on this site I couldn't help but give them a try myself. They were so fun ... I found myself becoming addicted to decorating them with different patterns for the bride and open and closed jacket for the groom.

This is my first try at a fondant wedding topper. Lots of improvment needed before the big day but just thought I'd share. Any tips on making clothes from fondant would be greatly received by the way. Struggling with the groom's jacket!
