I wanted to practice my roses and this cake idea came into my head. It is a while cake with white buttercream. I had a few crumbs in the icing (uuugh) but no one said anything or even cared when I told them about them. Haha. Most of my friends and family said this is their favorite cake that I have made.

This is a cake I did for a bridal shower. Each cake is chocolate cake with chocolate BC & chcolate poured icing, fresh strawberries and chocolate swirls. This is my most popular birthday cake (in a single tier of course)!!

Small cake for a bridal shower. Paper goods at the shower are silver and white, so I chose to do everything in that scheme. Dress is made on a form of sugar ice cream cones with a modeling chocolate "bust". Dress is my design with handpainted fondant with applied sanding sugar panels. Cake has overpiped scrolls painted with silver luster dust. All edible.

Great fun making this. I stacked 3 sugar cones on each other, stuck them together with white chocolate and molded a bust out of modeling chocolate. I put the dress on piece by piece and then hand painted it and applied small dragess for buttons.

This is a yellow cake with vanilla cream filling I made for a lingerie shower for dh's nephew's fianceé. I used the sweetheart pan and the mini ball pan. It is covered with a thin layer of buttercream then in marshmallow fondant. I am very pleased with the way it turned out! Of course it's not as perfect as I would like but I am trying to get more practice working with fondant.

This is the cake I'm most proud of. I made it in April and just got the pictures of it recently. I tried to duplicate a picture from the 92 or 96 Wilton year book. The cake was for a Jack and Jill, wishing well themed party. It was made with buttercream frosting. The flowers were made of royal icing, and the "stones" on the side were made with flattened marshmallows. It was a chocolate cake. In the background you can see some of the vanilla cupcakes.

The color on my camera looks a bit off. That was actually a lovely shade of purple to match the bridal party's dresses and light green base cake. This is my very first fancy cake I ever made. I was pretty proud of it all things considered.

Thank you to Nana784. I used the picture of your cake to make this one :) It was chosen by my customer because she thought it was so beautiful. My cake is Double Chocolate Layer cake with Bittersweet Chocolate frosting covered in fondant. I didn't have a diamond impression mat so I had to make the diamond design by hand. My thumb is still numb! LOL I hope y'all like it.

Cake for the same sister, different shower! I just had to do the classic doll cake bride, just for fun. I iced her with buttercream icing. she was coffee chocolate cake on the inside. Used the Pampered Chef bowl...baked two and spliced them together. Glues a bit of tulle to her head and a tiny flower...made the teeny boquet with fake flowers too.

This cake is based on one of the Wilton cake books, it was a huge hit. The bride's dress is the "Wonder Mold" and the bridesmaids are Mini-wondermolds. The skirts are all buttercream and the corsets are all fondant with luster dust. The hangars are royal icing

This cake was designed after the bridal shower invitation (photo posted). I piped the yellow design right on top of the pink, laid a viva towel over top and lightly rolled my foam roller over the top to get it all flat and even. The dress is MMF, and the top is lightly brushed with corn syrup and then covered in cake sparkles. The hanger is MMF painted with NuSilver luster dust.

My 1st bridal shower cake. I am pretty happy w/ how it came out. It is 3 heart shapes carved out of rectangular pans. Only thing I could say is my dowel is coming up a bit through the top and there is nothing I can do about at this point. They said just make whatever I wanted to and I made what I would have wanted if I were having a shower :). I have always loved pink and brown together. Thanks for looking :)

I was practicing making these bride dress cookies. I am glad that I didn't have to do these for an order because I just couldn't get the swing of it to get them to come out right. I am still going to give them to bring them to the shower anyway because I think they will still enjoy them. Hopefully they can tell the cookies are supposed to be dresses

After being sick as a dog for a week and spending the last three days in bed, I was able to get up this morning with the help of God, and bake and decorate this cake for a friend for a party she had today! Chocolate cake filled with three layers of whipped choc ganache, choc BC and dulce de leche. Thanks for looking!
