This cake was made for my boss for Valentine's Day. In the fondant box, he placed the engagement ring. The cake is European Fondant, with CC Super Pearl Luster Dust. All the accents were made with gumpaste and fondant. She said Yes!

My son had a play at school, and they were all crayons. I was in charge of the cast party, so I thought this was a perfect cake for it. 2- 9x13 stacked cakes covered in BC. Icecream cones for the tips of the crayons. Oh by the way, the play was adorable.

My very first gumpaste shoe, thanks Nati for directions. It was great fun to make. My husband was a bit dismissive of the fact that I had used a non-edible ribbon for the shoe, he was amazed when I told him it was gumpaste, the thought it looked so real. The cake is yellow vanilla cake brushed with strawberry preserves and filled with bavarian cream. Coated in IMBC and covered in fondant. The lid is rice crispies treat with fondant. The label is gumpaste. Cake was for a very fashion forward 6 year old girl.

This is the second one I did of this cake, the first was a demo for my Wilton Hobby Lobby display. This is an 8" yellow cake with raspberry filling, covered in fondant with buttercream strings. The trinket box, calla lilies, roses, daisie, necklace and ring are fondant/gumpaste mix. The apple blossoms are RI.

This is a 3 layer 7" square cake in all buttercream with MMF accents. The bottom of the box is 2 layers of DH Devil's Food cake with extender recipe and 1/4 cup Dutch Processed Cocoa added. The top of the box is 1 layer of Pillsbury Strawberry Cake straight from the box. The top is on a cut-to-size cake board covered in contact paper and frosted in buttercream. I did use some straws as dowels just in case. This cake was FUN FUN FUN!!!

I did this for my DH's bday as an experiment. I didnt have alot of time, was having problems getting the lines on the icing, the icing was getting soft, but overall it wasn't bad for a first attempt at it. He laughed and loved it, that's why he's a DH!

Cousin's 21st birthday cake. Bottles are small, sample bottles of alcohol. Next time I will make it a square to give a better "box" feel and do a different color ribbon (I was trying to re-use icing from Christmas).

A bit lumpy and shooting the picture at 1AM didn't do anything to enhance the pic. I used a loaf pan, but if I try this again, I'm going to use a larger sheet cake and build up the box instead. Also, used a marble cake, but the chocolate portions seemed to not "stick together" as well as the yellow. Live and learn.

For DH's 60th Birthday. 3 1/2 sheets cut, carved, layered and dowelled and boarded to the hilt. My candy clay peices broke, the edible image cracked and it is leaning slightly forward. Could have done waaay better.

A customer requested I replicate this cake from "sugarbuzzcakes" except with a different color bow, etc. I still wish I could get my bottom edges perfectly straight but I was fairly happy with how the large bow turned out. The setup serves around 70 party size slices.

This was my first attempt at a hat box cake and working with chocolate clay. It was for a friends baby shower. The bear is chocolate clay. It was fun to work with. The tissue paper didn't dry in time, so I had to use real tissue paper. My inspiration was from the gallery, sorry I don't have the name here in front of me. This is my first post. I love this website and have learned a lot from you all. Thanks

Birthday cake make for a friends birthday. Got all of my ideas from other pictures on this web-site. Thank you all so much for all of the pictures you have posted. All made from fondant. Used Rhonda's Ultimate MMF for the first time and so all of the white and brown are with this fondant. The pink was Wilton fondant. Not a perfect cake but I am sure my girlfriend is going to love it.

Just an Xbox cake made for a customer. Carved, covered in greyish fondant, and airbrushed light silver. I hand painted the darker areas...should have used darker tinted fondant but my black was looking too blue (ran out of Americolor and was using Wilton) and the paint was the color I wanted...however b/c of that the dark parts do not have a very smooth finish.
