I was tempted to do something cheesy about it being finally 'legal' now that their marraige was 21, but opted for something flowery instead just to play it safe. White cake, MMBC frosting, cherry filling. 1/4 sheet.

My daughter I signed up for a cookie bouquet class with my Wilton instructor after my cake classes. We had fun. I know now what to do to make them better. This is the one and only so far. I have done the NF without sticks since then.

I got the idea from geehouse, so thanks! I had to adapt it though, I couldn't get the cupcakes to stay on the stryofoam ball so I cut the ball in half. Choc. mini cupcakes with buttercream frosting. I wrote on clay pot with paint pens.

I made 7 bouquets, 1/2 chocolate, 1/2 vanilla, all with vanilla buttercream. The colors were pink, purple and yellow. The bouquets with the yellow ruffle were vanilla and the bouquets with the purple ruffle were chocolate. The decorations where quite time consuming! My first large paid order.

I LOVE cookie bouquets & mine are super yummy. All butter & I use royal icing made with lemon juice & a bit of corn syrup so it is shiny. I didn't take much time to make these super cute, but even ugly cookie bouquets are wonderful. Oh, this is a welcome home baby one and the mommy is a teacher, thus the teacher themed coffee mug.

This was a fun cake to do. I'm still learning timing on everything and got caught working right up to the minute when delivery was due. Gulp. Whipped icing with royal icing flowers. Cookie bouquet. Choc/White cake.

I always keep a dummy of some sort in my display case at work, so I came up with this. Got the colors from taking a dark maroon and adding white in varying degrees. The base icing is marbled together. And check this out - today, one of the store managers told me it's UGLY! (She's notoriously picky.) She said the frosting looked like blood. All I could do was walk away silently. Then complain to my boss about how rude that was and I've received nothing but compliments on it! What a witch! LOL

This matches the graduation cap cake that I made. The cookies were fun, they always are. It was so sad, when I was placing the cap cookie into a bag, I broke the tassel off. I was upset, but what can you do! This is why you always make 2, just in case I guess. Now when I buy cutters, I look at how thin the cookie will be. Live and learn. Thanks!

This was created for an 80th birthday. Pink gumpaste roses and leaves. Organza ribbon used upon request (I normally prefer to have everything edible). Cake is combination of coconut/vanilla cream for bottom layers and white rum cake for top layers. Madagascar vanilla buttercream is the filling and icing all enrobed in vanilla/white chocolate fondant.

This was my very first attempt at a cookie bouquet. No fail sugar cookies with poured cookie icing. I was quite pleased with my efforts until the cookies started falling off the bamboo skewers one by one. It never did make it to the intended recipient. After reading some postings in the Cookies! forum I know that next time I should use a little piece of extra dough to cover the back of the skewer to prevent this from happening again. Oh well, thanks for looking.

My first cookie bouquet. These were for a bridal shower. I really had nothing to go on for the colors. I went with flowers I found in my own garden. The host added filler after, but, I don't have those pics.

This is my first cookie bouquet. I use the "No Fail Sugar Cookie" recipe with rolled buttercream icing. The details are done with royal icing.

I was very proud with the way it turned out with this being my first, however there is room for improvement.

Thanks for looking!

This is my second cookie bouquet. Had problems with the cookies falling off the sticks. Managed to get these four only to wake up the next morning to find the front one had fallen off. Rolled them 3/8-inch thickness and am going to try 1/2-inch next time around.

This is another picture before I packaged and decorated. I probably should have let colors dry before each decorations, because some of them ran a bit. It was so much fun though. My sister and moms(real and step) were thrilled to see them. My sister said she could hardly believe I did it. Looked store bought! I guess thats a compliment.
