This cake was 1/2 vanilla with vanilla custard filling and 1/2 chocoloate with chocolate filling. It was covered in buttercream icing and then the "belly" was covered in fondant. The accent flowers were made out of gum paste.

The color scheme of this cake was made to match the party inviations. Base cake is 12" square. Butter cream icing with fondant accents.

I want to thank didi5 and ellyrae for their wonderful ideas inspired this cake. It is a 16" square raspberry cake with cream cheese icing. I used an egg pan for the belly and cupcakes for the chest. I used fondant to make the flowers, plaque, border and dress. Thanks again for the inspiration cakes.

this is the first belly cake I have ever done, it's in the mom-to-be's fav. colors and the host who ordered the cake asked for the belly button to show and be freakishly large as an inside joke... but I think I succeeded in that area haha it's white cake with buttercream icing and covered in fondant....

This is for my sister's 40th suprise birthday party today. I was told to make it blask and "Lordy, lordy, look who's 40!" So I put her name instead, and I loved the other cakes on here like this. All buttercream with chocolate chips for the black road and "Jelly Belly" jelly beans for the "pretty" road.

i used the ball pan for the belly and the breast is the min doll pan all white cake and the sheet cake is a yellow cake. f fondant dress design is from wilton new fondant flower mat. thanks for checking my work out.

I couldn't wait to try this one. I was inspired by the many belly cakes on cc, and the diaper bag by helipops. All fondant except for the bottle which was a candle and the toy was real.

Well, first time doing this and I am very happy. I was a litte worried about putting on 9 x13 cake. But it turned out well, just don't see much of under cake. 9 x 13 is chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling, top is banana cake all covered with buttercream and fondant for dress and roses.

Baby shower cake for one of my co-workers. My first belly cake. Lemon cake with buttercream icing covered in marshmallow fondant. Fondant flowers, bow and letters also.

double layer sheet cake, french vanilla at the bottom, devils food cake at the top filled with fresh strawberries and cream, the belly and the breasts are yellow cake with chocolate BC. Inspiration from one of the wonderful ladies here at cake central, thank you!!!!!!!

Made this belly cake for my son's girlfriends sister. Got inspiration from here. Thanks to all! Belly is choc. cake and bottom layer is white cake. Choc. piped flowers over entire bottom cake. Had some trouble making dress pattern. Butterflies are store bought. I have a feeling I will be making more of these cakes once customers see how different they are from your typical grocery store cakes.

Everybody wants belly cakes. Belly cake with daisies and baby feet. 11x15 cake covered in bc. Belly is covered with bc and fondant along with all accents are fondant as well. TFL

This was inspired by several on here. Instead of the coconut bra, we had a shell bra. Flowers are fake - rest is BC. This was actually for a high school graduation luau party.

made for my sisters babyshower. half was vanilla cake with a chocolate whip cream filling othr half was chocolate cake with vanilla whip cream filling and the middle was marble with a mix of the choc and vanilla filling. covered in buttercream, with royal icing flowers and fondant shirt and letters
