My first ever belly cake thank you so much for all of those who've posted previously I looked at many cakes for inspiration. This is an 11 x 15 with a 1/2 ball and 2 cupcakes, covered in butter cream and MMF for the dress. Thanks for looking.

Thanks to didi5 who allowed me to utilize her creative idea! My customer had seen the picture of didi5's cake and wanted me to duplicate it...they had found shower decorations with exact colors and pregnant women on them. Had a hard time with the boobs...couldn't get them to look right and I couldn't figure out how to fix them...was embarrassed about how they looked but they were very happy with the outcome!

Thanks so much to kris_813, who sent me the instructions 2 months ago, and to ellyrae, who sent instructions to kris_813!
I finally got to do this cake for a baby shower. I of course can see all the flaws, but I like it anyway. It is a 1/2 sheet cake, chocolate with raspberry filling and choc buttercream. Yummy! The guest of honor loved it, from what I hear.

Egg pan for belly, cupcakes for boobs. Belly was too big for cake so I had to cut down (not much of a sculptor, as you can see). Anyway, chocolate cake, banana filling, fondant covering cake, fondant dress, fondant flowers with silver dragees (is that what they're called?). Thank you so much ellyrae for your very detailed and helpful instructions, I can't even imagine what it would have looked like without them. You really should post a tutorial. :)

This was my first try at this cake and I am so happy!! I used MMF for the top. The bottom cake was 1/2 vanilla and 1/2 chocolate while the tummy and breasts were vanilla. It is iced in homemade buttercream. ENJOY

I took ideas from two different cakes I found on this web site and created this belly cake for a couples baby shower. Cake was iced with buttercream. Decorations were MMF.

My 2nd belly cake...chocolate cake w/buttercream frosting, fondant dress, rolled fondant roses with luster dust. Belly made from egg pan, boobs with mini wonder molds.

Baby shower cake with belly, half sheet with buttercream. Boobs were mini wondermolds and the belly was half of the sports ball pan. Flowers were gumpaste and the little daisies were royal icing.

This is a quarter sheet cake. The top are snow balls covered in frosting. The belly is a cake baked in a small mixing bowl.

This cake was for a guy turning 50. I airbrushed his name "Mitch" down by the underwear line, gave her a belly button piercing, and added a fondant bra. :)

This is the same concept as everyone else on this site. My thanks to Didi5 for his/her idea which is where I first saw it. Made the same way as everyone elses. Yellow ribbion is not ediable, but all els is. Only problem I seemed to have is some people likened it to a naughty cake, because of the breast size. Next time I will be sure to make the breast a bit smaller.

Pregnancy cake white cake with whipped cream and strawberry center.
covered in Fondant. You can't see it well but those are not white dots on

This is a cake inspired by the Great Duff's cake "bellylicious". My sister picked this out for her birthday (since she's pregnant and all and thought it would be a fun cake) Anyways, it's a 10 and 6 stacked marble and chocolate. Iced in buttercream w/fondant decorations..my second attempt at fondant figure, still need LOTS of work. Thanks for looking!

This was my first PB Belly cake to do and it was fun! It is a half sheet with sports ball pan belly and mini wonder mold boobs. It is a very heavy cake!! Made for a Baby Shower, of course, and the colors requested were this hot neon pink and neon green. WASC cake with bc filling and frosting. Belly, boobs and flowers all fondant. Lots of work but lots of fun! TFL

This was for my best friends baby shower! The slab is half chocolate with chocolate filling and half white with vanilla filling. The boobs are white cake and the belly is lemon pound cake. Slab is covered in BC and the belly is covered in fondant. Flowers are fondant also. I loved making this! Hard to get the fondant to the exact shape and size though, if anyone has any tips, I am more than willing to hear them!!
