Cakes were made from mini loaf pans. I cut each loaf in half so I got 2 cakes from each mini cake. All decorating was done in buttercream. Made about 80 of these.

I hate this cake. It was a trial and error, mostly error. She didn't want mmf, so icing wasn't the smoothest. I couldn't get it very level, then when delivered it collapsed, so this is my cake disaster cake. I hope I never have to do another like it again.

Made for my colleagues nephew for his 1st birthday, 4 4x4 inch madeira cakes filled with raspberry jam and buttercream , Bears and baby made out of icing plus cmc powder using instructions from Aine2 thanks Lorraine. My figures seem to be developing a face style that I cant get away from however much I try. Smash cake is 3x3 by about 4 high, simply decorated with a sugarpaste sleeping bear on top TFL

Fondant blocks w/ BC edges on a fondant base. I wish I had not been so pressed for time; I would have done the edges of the blocks in fondant to make them look more polished!

Made this for a friend's baby shower. 6" and 9" rounds. Alternated sanding sugar on each column of diamonds (Ateco diamond cutter set) and used sanding sugar on the border for each tier. Baby blocks are fondant covered RKT with fondant accents and luster dust. Silver dragees in the center of each flower between diamonds.

Non-traditional baby shower colors. Buttercream icing with fondant details. Would have liked this better had the blocks been all fondant.

I made this cake for a friend as a surprise. She has a little girl name Ella (this is her first child) and I made this cake to surprise her...it's just a Happy Day cake..no special occasion. The figures are supposed to resemble my friend and her baby.

The figures were created using Lorraine McKay's tutorial. This is my 2nd one so I still have some practicing to do but overall I was pleased with it. :-)

And I'm happy to say, my friend loved it :-)

I did this cake for my sister's baby shower. I got the idea from Confettie cakes cake book.
I had trouble getting the blocks to have straight sharp edges. The bear on top and booties are made from gumpaste.

Vanilla WASC with chocolate SMBC filling, white chocolate booties, fondant letters and gumpaste baby. This cake survived one of the top blocks falling off the night before the event and caused more than a few moments of panic, but it was a big hit at the party.

These are 4 layer stacked white cakes with buttercream and fondant accents. The baby's initials are TR and the elephants match the baby's crib sheets.

All buttercream with fondant accents.... I so loved this cake, until someone pulled out in front of me and I had to slam on my brakes - my 1st cake crash and hopefully my last.

This was one of my first fondant cakes from about 3 years ago. I just started doing cakes and I was inspired to do a cake for a friends shower that was a diaper cake only it would actually be cake not diapers. I made gumpaste pacifiers, rattles, rubber ducks, baby blocks with the new baby to be's initials. The colors are softer than I wanted. My friend wanted really light pastel colors. She actually originially wanted all white(boring!!!). So this color was a compromise. I would love to do this again the way I originally imagined it( 3 tiers) more vibrant color.
Cake was good too! Thanks for looking.

This set up was for a pastel baby shower. The main cake is 5" square and is a big baby block with the sides saying "B-A-B-Y". The top has foot prints and says "Welcome Scarlett". The individual cakes are fondant covered 2" squares that have been filled with cream. The blocks use the colors of the party: purple, pink, green & yellow.
