Made this using two layer 10" round and one layer 8" round. Template for ark was from Wilton Tiered cakes book. Thanks to SuzieQue for her help. Had fun making all the little animals. Also made cupcakes with leftover chocolate batter. Vanilla buttercream on all...rainbow and ark made from gumpaste/fondant. TFL

Noah's Ark for a baby shower. Cake is yellow cake with chocolate buttercream. Wood is made from chocolate modeling clay. Animals are made from gum paste. Other accents are fondant. Cabin is RKT.

From 1996 Wilton Year Book...this is my baby's 1st birthday cake. The animals and letters are royal icing, the shack part of the ark is chocolate cookie. Water is buttercream and the hull is an upside down football cake....Took ALOT of time and work and the hull started to break...had to insert extra supports.

rice crispy treat boat covered in chocolate fondant.. all fondant animals.. i made the boat and once i started on the animals i realized my boat was a wee bit small. so i could only make one of each animal. :D

For my own baby shower - matches the invitation that my sister in law used. Bottom layer is Chocolate Top Layer is plain Yellow. Iced with Buttercream then covered with my own recipe of Chocolate Fondant.

Buttercream Iced, Animals were made out of fondant. I was a little disappointed in it. Just felt like it was missing something. I think I would have been happier if I had made the ark from fondant, But the cake was done in a hurry so I guess it was ok. They were thrilled with it so thats what matters. :)

This was a Baby Shower Cake for a Friend. I found the Noah's Ark pattern in a Wilton Decotating Book & added the Baby Bottle & Onesie. They loved the Cake. French Butter Cream & MMF.

This cake was made for a little boy's babtism. The little boy is "in" the ark. The ark is rkt covered in fondant. All figures are fondant as well. Thanks for looking!

This was for my nephew's 4th Birthday Party. He loves animals so this was a big hit with him. It is entirely made out of MMF. The base is 9X13 and I used the Wilton's football pan upside down for the ark.

Noah Ark made with RKT and covered with fondant. Waves created using a mold then formed in the shape of a wave. Large whale: RKT and small whale: molded chocolate mixed with fondant. This cake was a whole lot of fun decorating.

I love this cake! Carved from a football pan and a 9x13, covered and decorated in fondant. "water" is buttercream with piping gel... about 14 working hours total- I'm slow plus I made fondant animals before the cake, then realized they were too big!!! So had to make another, smaller set, so I lost time but gained practice! TFL

Make for a little girls baptism per request. Based off a cake found on flickr by applegum kitchen (TY!). This cake took more time than I've ever had to take on a cake mainly b/c of the Ark and all the animals but it was fun to do! All MMF except giraffes which were gumpast. TTYFL!

Ark Cake done from Debbie Browns lovely book. Vanilla cake. Hand made figures from fondant and then chocolate vanilla cupcakes with fondant creatures. Very time consuming!

The cake is a 9" round yellow cake with fresh strawberries covered in fondant with fondant decorations. On top is an oversized ark made of Rice Krispies treats covered in fondant with gumpaste animals along for the ride. The cupcakes have gumpaste toppers with a whole bunch of different animals. Thanks for looking!

This is the and baby bottom cake I have done, the baby's name is Noah, and so his theme is Noah's Ark. I made the candy animals to send home as well. This cake was a hit. Def. better than my first baby bottom!
