White cake covered in chocolate MMF. I had a lot of fun doing this cake but it took a long time to complete. There were also cupcakes that went with it. Idea from Debbie Brown book.

I made this for my MIL's church fundraiser. She gave me free reign on the theme, which I LOVE, so I decided on Noah's Ark :-) Chocolate cake, strawberry filling, BC icing. Decorations are all fondant. (Ark is RKT covered in fondant).

this was a disaster... i left the cake in the car during t-ball after a rough drive, the top of the ark and all of the animals fell off into the water.. it was a total mess... turned out okay in the end.. animals are fondant/gumpaste mixture. this was my first time making 3-d animals.. it was interesting... to say the least.

This was a 2-layer oval cake with a square "topper". A 12x15 sheetcake was cut and shaped as "land". The animals are all fondant and the rainbow is colorflow. The water is buttercream and piping gel.

I match the invitation, the theme was noah's ark - animals are figured piped with buttercream on a 12" cake.

After seeing these cakes on Cake Central I have always wanted to try making one. So for my grandson's first birthday decided this would be the perfect opportunity since his name is Noah. White cake with buttercream icing and filling. Covered with fondant, all figures are fondant as well.

This cake was for a children church party with Noah's ark as a theme. This was a large cake half yellow cake with bavarian filling, half chocolate with strawberry filling. Did not have time to make figurines out of gumpaste so I made them out of chocolate ( I think the kids prefered that! )

This was a cake I did using an oval pan as the base and the football pan for the ark. I used mini loaf pans stacked for the top of the ark. I did the animals in royal icing but all other decorating was in buttercream.

This is the 2nd time I have done a NA cake. I changed it up a little this time though. All the figures are fondant and the boat is RKT covered with fondant. TFL!

For a friend's baby shower - Noah is due in September! All BC - BC piped animals - Teddy bears are tootsie rolls - chocolate piped Ark --- TFL!

This was my very first cake for my sister's baby shower. The trouble was NOBODY wanted fondant icing. So i made my fondant animals and put them on butter cream. Anybody got some better solutions. I sure would welcome some ideas.

This cake was for a dessert auction at my church. Chocolate cake with buttercream icing, covered in fondant. Animals and people made with fondant. Water is royal icing. To make the wood, I made four different colours (brown, light brown, cream and black) into ropes, twisted them together, kneaded into a ball and rolled out, then cut into strips and then into individual boards. I covered the cake with a thin layer of fondant so the boards would have something to stick to.

I made this cake for my son's 7th birthday today. Fondant covered RKT Ark, fondant skeleton, royal icing covered RKT for walls/ceiling ledge/pillar blocks. Pillars were wedding cake pillars. Fondant pedestals. Actual action figures/idols/snakes. TFL!
