6x3 & 9x3 Almond Cake filled with BC covered with vanilla Satin Ice Fondant. All decorations fondant. Frame is an Icing image trimmed in chocolate fondant with fondant flowers. Cake inspired by invitation shown. TFL!

I decided to put this picture in the Holiday section because, although it was a welcome home cake, it was a 'welcome home to the snow' cake!! That's why the cake is all white. It's actually a chocolate cake with an almond filling and a whipped cream frosting (something light)... obviously covered with white chocolate dipped strawberries, and the sides had slivered almonds for an added crunch!! Later, I filled in the top of the cake with more strawberries... I didn't like it looking so bare!

Got the idea from everyone else here on CC. Cherry mice w/ hershey kiss faces and almond sliver ears. Vanilla cream cookies dipped in white and milk chocolate. Made these for a cookie swap.

This is a Muchas Leches Cake from the Rather Sweet Bakery cookbook (my fave). It's a flourless cake, the cake is ground up almonds and is soaked in 5 different milks.......delicious. The outside is just a whipped topping with sugared almonds and strawberries. TFL.

This was 2 8" layers of WASC cake with SugarShacks BC. I made this for my own mother and also made an extra to sell. This cake was delicious.... I have been made a huge fan of WASC because of this cake. I topped it with the extra large strawberries I had dipped for other customers and then sprinkled cocoa powder on top to finish it off. TFL

Double Dark Chocolate Fudge cake filled and frosted with vanilla Almond Buttercream. Buttercream roses and cornelli lace decorations. The family I delivered this to was THRILLED! It made my day!!!

This was made for a church dinner, thus the reason for the different toppings. WASC converted to chocolate with Hershey chocolate syrup frosting and "regular" chocolate BC for the very top for contrast (almonds, walnuts, Kit-Kat, and Twix toppings). Pre-scored to help the serving ladies. TFL.

I got this idea from Cakery (THANKS!!). 2 Tier WASC, torted and filled with chocolate ganache and fresh sliced strawberries, then covered with dark chocolate ganache with white fondant shirt and bow. The final cake was also topped with chocolate covered "tuxedo" strawberries. It was a huge hit and very delicious!!

So fun to make. A nonspreading sugar cookie dyed green and rolled and shaped to look like a finger. I put a red almond on the end for the finger tip. I dyed them red by putting them in a plastic bag with some red gel food color. You could up the yuck factor by dipping them in red melted chocolate for the bloody look. Happy Halloween!

This Yoda Star Wars character cake was made of rice krispy cereal and was sitting in a green swamp (which was a butter pecan cake covered in butter cream) The fingernails are sliced almonds and the clothing is MMF. A fun birthday for my 30-something son who will always love the wise Yoda.

Two-tiered cake. Bottom tier is dark chocolate w whipped cream filling and ganache frosting. Top tier is an almond cake w guava filling and coconut frosting. Cake is entirely covered in lemon flavored fondant bright colors and shapes. Guests loved the cake and Pedro didn't want to cut it! DELICIOUS!
