My daughter Laura loved her Grease Gold Record. She had a 60's rock n roll theme birthday for the 13th birthday party. I even bought her a poodle skirt costume from Party City. She looked so cute!! Used 14 in round french vanilla cake covered in buttercream.

Made this cake for my nieces sweet sixteen. MMF, fonadant flowers, RI/flo icing peace symbols. Hand is made out of MMF. All painted with amerimist, and airbrush sheen. Cake was tye-dyed inside. She loved it. Whole party was peace signs and tye-dye.

I made this owl cake to match the partywear my husband's cousin (who is like a lil' sis to me) picked out for her daughter's first birthday. Everything but the flowers is freehand, and there are lots of details not shown in this pic, unfortunately. The four owls were the primary elements, with two birds, a butterfly, and lots of flowers, hearts, and peace signs completing the design. Orange dreamsicle cake for the bottom tier and vanilla on the top tier.

Closest I could get to a tie die effect, but it still looks psychedelic and 60's to me! Lemon cake and lemon butter cream covered in homemade white chocolate fondant.

made this cake for my grandparents-in-law for their 60th anniversary which is diamond. both tiers are fruitcake, diamonds on top were glass & i had them engraved for a keepsake item. roses were handmade with fondant. i had to travel interstate with this cake so i was so glad that nothing got broken on the trip. :) there were some cakes on here that helped inspire me... thank you

Cake was created for a 50th Birthday Celebration. All designs are fondant and bottom tier designs are hand painted. I'll post some pictures with details soon. :)

This was my first topsy-turvy. It was for a fall event held by a local moms' group. Everyone dressed up in 50's outfits and all the food was retro. The cake somehow fir right in!
