This cake was for my daughter's bday. Very simple cake, 2 9" rounds stacked. Found a globe for the topper and mini dolls dressed in costumes from around the world. I had fun carring out this theme.

White chocolate cake with raspberry filling and vanilla butter cream icing. Everything is edible - the penguin on Antarctica, shark fins in the water, dancing bear on Russia, panda on China, elephant and giraffe on Africa, kangaroo on Australia, macaws and tree frog on South America, and the bald eagle flying over the US are all fondant. (it was my first time making figures from fondant - what fun!) "Protect our earth" sign was made from candy melts. Made for a special Earth Day dinner last night.

Made for a wonderful friend turning 50 who has an amazing ministry worldwide. Flags were placed in the countries they work with. The script is English on one side and Tamil on the other (India). His wife wanted more cake servings for the party so we added a larger cake underneath. I always joke that it turned out to look like a UFO. Buttercream detail.

I made the globe out of cake and covered it with Chocoalte Clay. The base is a big rice Krispie treat, since that is what the honoree really missed while he was gone.

I made this cake with the help of several ideas that I found here on Cake Central so thank you! Our school principal wanted something to celebrate World Teacher's day. The chalkboard is done in buttercream as well as the wooden looking border that I did with a large basketweave tip. The crayons, ruler etc are made of fondant.

This is a chocloate birthday cake I made for a friend the cake is torted with buttercream frosting in it and covered in buttercream. The Succubus is my first try at a chocolate transfer. It is the warlocks pet in the game World of Warcraft. The tail broke but I did not have time to make another. Overall I am pretty happy with it.

This was my first attempt using fondant -_-; My fiance plays WoW and I wanted to make him something special for his birthday. Hopefully next time I'll know what I'm doing and can do a better job. He was happy though and that's all that matters!

This cake was created for Pangaea Cafe' & Pub, a restaurant celebrating their 3rd year in business. I used their logo (see bottom of photo) as my inspiration. The top cake (globe) is apple carrot cake with cream cheese spice filling and the bottom cake is sweet potato spice cake with cream cheese spice filling. Cake is covered in MMF and all decorations are MMF with gumpaste.

I made this cake for my sons 3rd Birthday. Bottom layer is white with raspberry filling. Middle layer is choc. with choc. buttercream filling and top is confetti cake. The world broke on my the night before at 11pm so I baked a new one and started over. I wanted to add Supermans cape draped on the side of the cake made out of fondant, but I didn't have the time and I wasn't having very good luck and did not want to ruin the cake! Tell me what you think!

Thanks!

I made this cake to celebrate Earth Day. I'm proud of how my little continents turned out - they were tough to trace and cut out. Two 8" chocolate cakes with white, fluffy icing. Blended two fondant colors, purposefully swirling the blue for water.

This was for the groom. His family is from Italy and they all love soccer. So we substitued The two Italina islands for the Worl Cup Soccer ball and their team patch. Then positioned it so it looked like the "boot" was kicking the ball.

1/2 sheet cake cut in 1/2, then one 1/2 cut in 1/2 from corner to corner. 6 cupcakes. The corner pcs make the ledges, cupcakes are the inside mound and volcano. Toys came from a $$ store. I just assembled and iced to make a dino world. The one is suspended by a wooden skewer I sprayed blue. Just bored a hole in the toys bottom. I got this idea from a kit I had seen from Bakery Craft I believe. It was soo cool!!!

Birthday Cake for my husband's best friend. They are both obsessed with the WWE, so I made a World Title Belt. The cake is 1/2 yellow & 1/2 chocolate with buttercream icing. The Belt is chocolate clay and fondant. I made several belts because the clay was drying out on me. Next time I'm buying black fondant. The kids liked the chocolate belt. It was a big hit.
