Easter Treats. I made a total of 300 of each these for my kidlets classes and for Easter. :) They take forever to make, mold and decorate but the kids absolutely LOVE them and that makes it all worthwhile.

White cake with strawberry buttercream filling. Rolled buttercream strips for basket. Vegetarian rice cripsy treats. Gumpaste signs. This cake is for my sister who loves krispy treats but doesn't eat gelatin (in marshmallows). Whole Foods Market sells the veg version of the treats. They sell them in a bushel basket.

This is my version of the nintendo gamecube. Thanks to others, especially yoktom for their posts and inspiration. Mine is a NGC purple. Chocolate cake. This is my First fondant covered cake!!! Yeah. Happy to get that out of the way! The controller is rice crispie treat. All other pieces are 50/50. My son (7) came up with the idea to use the cord for Robert's name. Everyone was pleased and think it turned out great! Thanks for looking.

this cake was created for a performing arts open house. everything shown is edible, including the sheet music, hardwood floor, violin, ballet slipper, and comedy and tragedy masks. the bag is made out of carmelized vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream icing, and the violin is made of iced rice crispy treats. I find the rice crispy treats are good when small children will be attending, and is also SOOO versatile to work with.

I told her I didn't have time to do it, but I work with her and she was sooo insistent....so I caved. Anyway, it has a long disaster story associated that I'll have to post in the appropriate forum sometime later... lemon cake with raspberry filling, rice krispy treat ball covered in fondant. Airbrushed the cake.

I have been waiting for the chance to do these since I saw them in the Wilton yearbook. The little girl loves RKT and wanted something different for her birthday. Candy melts for frosting, M&M and sprinkles for decorations.

Requested for a 40th birthday. Golf ball is RKT, as is tee. The rest is cake. Tapped some cake crumbs to the bottom of the divot to make dirt, and airbrushed the whole cake with the exception of the ball.

"Lawn" cakes to serve 225. House and shrubs are molded RKTs. The house is covered in fondant and the shrubs were dyed with airbrush colors diluted in Everclear. Done to replicate an existing home in the Cleveland suburbs.

A 9" sq Pillsbury halloween sprinkle cake covered with MMF. The cat's head (yep...it's supposed to be a cat) is made from the mini ball pan. My dd 5 thinks it's great and is proud to take it to her class party and that is all that matters. Thanks to Aine2 for her video tutorial on covering a sq. cake with fondant.

Christmas - Dog treat - Throughout the howlidays everyday when I went into work there would be another plate of cookies that somebody brought in. As if I need to eat any more cookies. So I thought that I'd make some snacks for my co-workers dogs. My three dogs love them and laid at my feet the whole time I was decorating them just waiting for one to fall on the floor. Of course I did let them sample a few just as a quality control measure. :)

Thanks to Beverly for the inspiration. Although mine is not nearly as good. Did the santa in rice crispy treats, covered with royal icing. Chimney is lemon cake w/ strawberry filling. Had alot of trouble with this cake falling. My dam was not nearly good enough, even though I made very stiff. Also had a lot of trouble w/ rice crispy treat, first time sculpting.
