I must confess that my husband did the flames. We striped the bag with red and orange and he freehanded it the flames.

This was a cake I built for my Son's 9th Birthday. It's a "Chub City" style rendition of the Transformer's "Bumble Bee Camaro". This is a 7 layer, carved cake. Buttercream, hand painted, with a fondant cover on the car. This is only about my 5th cake to make, so, it;s not a pro job, but it was FUN!!! Hope you enjoy.

My nephew came up with this idea. It's the Allspark cube (with his name written around the 4 sides) with 2 planets: Earth with the Autobot symbol & Cybertron with the Decepticon symbol.

2 layer 1/2 choc. 1/2 white 12" x 18" sheetcake with BC icing. Full top is a FBCT with a sqiggly star tip flame border. Bottom border is hard to see in pic but it is designed to match the blocks on the Transformer's hand.

This was done last minute for a friend's baby turning one. Not the amount of detail I'd like to put into a cake like this but a great amateur looking cake! Usually, I'm so concerned about making the scale just right and getting all the details right but I think I was just too tired last night to care.

This started out as a 1/2 sheet that I shaped to match the Transformer. I was pleased with the end result!

Client cake. Triple Choc Fugde cake w/ chocolate banana filling. Cake is covered in BC with airbrushed decorations. I used BC to draw the emblems after airbrushing the shading details on first. Combination of stencils and hand drawing.

Ice cream cake for my 6 year old son who loves chess and Transformers.
We found the Transformer Chess pieces at Toys R Us (in a chess set).
I couldn't use all the pieces. Fondant chessboard. Iced with chocolate ice cream.

Based loosely on a toy my son has. My first real attempt at anything other than square or circle. I also took some inspiration from aimers Optimus Prime cake, but hers was much better!

I drew this up using a cartoon picture I found online. I traced what I wanted onto a transparency page, then I flipped it over and used Piping Gel to trace it out to place on the cake as a stencil.

White w/ BC, fondant and toys decor. This was for nephew b-day. The "crater" happened when my eldest nephew fancied himself my new "assistant" I told him that if he keeps helping I MIGHT let him do a cake by himself.

This is an old photo I found. It's from when I'd only been decorating a few months. The writing is terrible and I only had one wilton cake board under the 1/2 sheet cake so it folded a little in the middle but that was part of my learning :) I did it a little over 2 years ago.

My first attempt at chocolate transfer. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out! And, my brother liked it, and that's what matters :-)
Chocolate transfer autobot and decepticon symbols, buttercream icing, and toy figurines.

This is the transformers cake I did. I was not sure what to do with this particular theme in the beginning, but after searching about transformers on the internet I was able to come up with a few ideas. The masks on the sides are made with gumpaste and mimic the transformers logos for both the good and the bad guys. The truck on top is one of the transformers in his car state. I think his name is Optimus Prime. The truck is also done in gumpast (and took me forever).

I baked a 15 by 9inch chocolate cake and sliced it to the shape of a truck. This is a cake for a 5 yr old boy who digs Transformers. Bought a little toy to put on it for him as a present.

This was straight before it got transported, it shifted in route, but I was able to cover up the cracks with extra icing hehe :) Autobot icon on one side and Decepticon icon on the other side. Birthday boy loved it and that is all that matters!
