I did this cake for my daughter's end of the season team party. Our two-year-old loves cake and had attacked one shoulder before I got home from work, so I had to do a very quick repair. I still think that it turned out well and everyone loved the cake.

I was bored so decided to bake and practice with some new things. This is my first MMF and first Shimmer Dust painting. I definately need to practice with the shimmer dust! Gotta start somewhere I suppose!

This was a 9"x13" chocolate sheetcake I made for my husband to take to his work potluck for the superbowl. I bought some really cute helmet and football sprinkles for the borders and the team logos were just hand done with buttercream. The entire cake is buttercream.

This cake was done last year for a teenage Boy, who goes to Milan every summer to practice with the AC Milan team. He's an avid fan and soccer player and scouts have already talked about him. Marble cake with buttercream deco. Logo was done with piped BC. His comment (15 yrs old):
"I will not cut this cake. I play with soccer balls, I don't destroy them"

This is a cake I made for a customer who wanted a cake for her kids end of season party. It is a marble cake and was made using 2 9"x13" pans - one for the body and I cut the other in half for the arms. It is decorated like the hockey sweater for the team.

White cake/white BC icing sheetcake from Costco (cake is 3/4" higher on one side than the other, NOT MY FAULT! lol), sportball choc. cake for tennis ball iced in BC, textured with empty tip 233. Stars are MMF. CMS is freehand copy of team t-shirt logo, tip 5, and patted flat. School colors are navy, royal blue, and white. Used "tennis yellow" to accent.

I made this for my daughter's soccer team's party. I used a blue icing to match their team colors and was really happy with the way the ball turned out. I wish I had spaced the top words a little farther apart so it didn't look like it said, "Waytogo" but what can you do? LOL The parents liked it and the kids loved eating their names! I used stars for the top border and grass on the bottom. I got lots of compliments despite the cracked icing - those darned flimsy boards! Live and learn! :)

These Cakes are made with regular store bought frosting. I tried to make it with mmf , but failed at it. So I had to do with what I had. This is my second cake I have made. I hope to get better within time.

This was the final cake for course 1. My sister takes the course with me and on the way to class she dropped her cake, not once but twice. She was so upset, and I felt so bad because she worked so hard on it. So, this cake was done by me and my sister. (team work) I think WE did a pretty good job!!

Thanks to amandasweetcakes for the inspiration for this cake. This is a 12X18 base cake with a half sports ball pan for the head and 2 loaf pans carved for the arms. Madison is an 10 yr old girl on the Broadway Sharks swim team and loved this cake! I wasn't too happy with it though. All funfetti cake and buttercream icing. Thanks for looking!

These may very well be my favourite cakes to date! Each is a 12x18, one white with vanilla IMBC covered in fondant, the other chocolate with chocolate IMBC and covered in chocolate fondant. The logos are traced and then painted onto rice paper which I then made into fondant plaques.
They were the hit of the party!

I was trying to imitate the team's tie dyed shirts. I asked for suggestions for wording and then found I didn't have any more room any way!!

I made this cake at the last minute. My son is a huge fan of the Philadelphia Eagles so I decided to surprise him with a football field look, and boy was he surprised. To add a finishing touch, we bought him a collector's eagle football and had his friends and family sign it!

These are my very first batches of cookies, since I became more serious with the decorating! They are for a basketball game this weekend! These two recipes make quite the combination! These cookies make me wish I hadn't had my gastic bypass.... then i could have eaten them.... all! Anyway! They came out wonderful! Thank you to the geniuses behind those recipes!

This is a birthday cake for a University of Memphis fan (FBCT). I was so excited to make it because I am a huge U of M fan myself. When I was finished, I didn't want to deliver it, I wanted to keep it for myself! They loved it!

This was for a 5 year old's birthday. She loves the drill team so her mother wanted a cake shaped like a drill team boot. It's hard to tell but it's trimmed in a deep purple and the color flow letters are of the deep purple color too. Seemed a little bare to me but it's what the Mom ordered.
