My first try at cake other than Wilton preformed pans. My nephew loved it. Used Wilton football mold for rocket and hand cut the bottom of the rocket and what the rocket sits on. Used piping gel transfer method for picture of Buzz. All BC. Put picture of nephew in rocket. Left out on this picture due to guidelines.

I made a Buzz Spaceship for Michael last year when he turned 4. He requested the same cake again this year AND I was invited to the party! I scraped off his name and replaced it with fondant lettering ~ it looked much cleaner. Easy and fun cake to make.

Buzz was done 2 years ago for my sons birthday. All buttercream. Buzz is piped onto cake. I didn't know about fbct back then. That would have been easier I think. I have learned alot from my fellow C.C.ers. Thanks for looking!!!

I did this cake for my cousin's baby shower. It was a book themed shower. It was butter and fudge marble cake with BC frosting. I painted on the pages with black candy coloring. I had about 7 hours to come up with an idea and then make the cake.

This was a cake I did for a friend - both their sons have birthdays in March so they had a joint party - the older one is 3, the younger one was turning 1.

Initially I wrecked this cake and managed to salvage it by turning it into a storybook.. glad the mum was just as happy.

This was for my son's 5th birthday. I found many great cowboy ideas on here, but didn't want to make use black or red (for the bandana look) so I used Woody's clothes for inspiration instead. Cake is butter yellow with mini chocolate chips, bavarian cream filling, BC and almond MMF. Toys are part of a collector's set. Thanks for looking!

This is for a 3yo girl that loves toy story. I made Buzz and Woody from fondant and a little Potato-head with parts that you could actually put in the holes. It was scratch light pound cake and vanilla buttercream.
The etch-a-sketch looked great, and I loved doing this cake, but it was alot of work!

I made this for my grandson who turned 3 yesterday. He's totally into Toy Story, especially Woody and Buzz. The bed, toy box and night stand are cake covered in fondant. Everything but the toys is made from either fondant or gumpaste.

All buttercram with buttercream transfers n top and edible image strips along the sdes. All together there were 28 different cartoon characters on this cake! I wish I had my digital camera back then so the detail would show up well. 35mm Just didn't capture all the hard work that went into this one.

This was for my daughter's 3rd birthday. She loves the Toy Story movies and specifically requested a Jessie cake. Cake is 10" yellow with lemon cream cheese and strawberry fillings and 6" chocolate with ganache and cookies and cream fillings. Cake is iced in white chocolate buttercream and covered in homemade fondant. Jessie, her hat and the badge are molded from a mixture of fondant and gumpaste. Features and chaps are painted with gel food color. Cake accents are fondant and grass is piped royal icing.

I made this for my son Jeremy who it totally in love with Woody. He watches the movie Toy Story at least 3 times a day. I was looking for inspiration on line and found a cake just like it at crazyamyscakes. My son loved it and even though I was trying to save the figurines for a dummy cake, he finally sneaked up on my and ate Woody up. Thanks for looking!

All of the figures are toys. :) The cake is 4 sheet cakes that I bought from the store. . I used a knife to "draw" on the lines before starting. The icing is Wilton's ready to use buttercream. I used left over cake for the pillows. I piped everything on and then smoothed it all out. It was really easy and they kids loved it. :) Some one has already had a taste. lol.
