Stand-Up Lamb on top of a 9X13 base, all chocolate cake, iced in buttercream with Jolly Rancher ladybugs and buttercream/fondant bees. Made for a little guy's 3rd birthday and he is horse CRAZY! He loved it and wanted it beside him all the way home! Thanks to everyone's help on how to make this one 'boyish', it was a hit!

This was the cake I made for my own wedding. Very simple, main section was basic french vanilla cake and satellites were chocolate, all iced with snowwhite buttercream, fresh flower accents.

I made this for my daughter's 3rd bday. She absolutely loved her "house cake" and was thrilled to see Snow White and all her buddies on the other cake! I made the "Durable cake for 3D and Wedding cakes" but used French Vanilla instead of white/yellow. Everyone just raved at how good it was...I must admit it was the best cake I've ever made, so delicious and moist.

This was my very first 3D-cake, and I thought it turned out pretty ok. It's a ginger-chocolate cake covered with vanilla-chocolate buttercream. The cakes you guys do are SO different from the cakes we do in Denmark, so this is REALLY learning-by-doing :-)

This cake was made using a vintage Wilton cake pan I found on Ebay. My brother loves Garfield so this was his birthday cake. The cake is chocolate and the icing is chocolate (dark brown stripes) and the orange is peanut butter flavored. He also loves Reese's cups!

This was a design I found in a Wilton Yearbook. The petals are fondant and the rest is buttercream. The stem and leaves are construction paper covering the pillar. It was for a 2 year old's birthday.

We used 14 dozen roses and it only covered the sides and front. 2 things of baby's breathe. So if you were making this cake and you wanna get an idea how many roses to buy... I would get atleast 25 to 38 dozen roses and 3 to 4 baby's breathe if you want baby's breathe.

This was the first wedding cake I have ever done. I have not had a chance to take any classes yet and that's why I love this web site so much lol. You can't really see it...but above the bottom border is a flower border that was very pretty. And for the record I will never use a cake stand like this again....very unstable....espescially the top tier.

This is now my most favorite cake of mine! The bottom and top tiers are pink gingham, with fondant hanging stars and fondant booties. The booties were a big hit at the shower. I wrote the date, 7-30-06, on the side of one of the booties. Also white clouds and a sleeping baby on top. Oh, and the verse around the middle cake matched the invititations, "Tiny Yawns & Sleepy Sighs....Nursery Rhymes & Lullabies...."

Cake is iced smooth with buttercream and presented on floating cake stand. Bride wanted embroidered flowers with stems to match wedding dress design. I achieved look by free-handing the design with Tip 1 dots. All roses on cake are made with royal icing.

Did this cake for my step-daughter's wedding this weekend. They wanted cake sparkles on top and it turned out nice. Hubby fixed the leaning tower of white cake when we got home from the wedding. We worried that bending the top tier holder could break it - not the thing to have happen at the reception! The guests kept remarking that the cake was tilted and going to fall!!

I made that that cake for Adriana, my friend's daughter. I used a wood stand, a butterfly pan and two rounds pans of six and seven inches. I used the butterflies of the candy bags to decorate the stand. The flowers of the base were made with foamy. In the two round cakes I draw two flowers.

This setup was originally a Martha Stewart design. They ended up using a plant stand instead of the stand in the book. When I got there, it was soooo wobbily!!! You can sort of see how the cakes were so heavy that they were sagging down. I just prayed that it made it until the guests arrived! Each of the seven 10" cakes were decorated differently; I'll post them individually for a closup view.

This is my first wedding cake made of chocolate fudge marble with white chocolate buttercream icing. It had 6 dozen fresh roses between the layers. Thank you Haley[haleyldh] for answering my questions.
I did all of the floral arrangements and bridal party flowers for this wedding too so I'm glad it's over and it all turned out!

This Holiday Bear went along with the big one. This is the mini stand up bear pan. My friend's son cannot eat wheat, gluten or milk products so this cake was for him, and the leftover batter was used to make cupcakes. I realized after we ate the cake and looked at the photos, that I forgot to put the eyes on the bear!!!
