This baby shower cake was made to match the new arrival's nursery theme of moons and stars. It features a sculpted crescent moon cake accented with a hand sculpted sleeping sugar baby and cupcake 'clouds' accented with sugar stars.

This was a departure in so much as I did not know the birthday girl. So i was told 3rd hand she likes soccer and she like Pink...and honestly i really didn't know how I would combined them and it not look completely awful. but this is what I came up with in the end and I let you be the judge. I used the Wilton Ball Mold, using only one half. The cake was Dark Chocolate Fudger with Fresh Raspberry layer in the center.

I had posted asking questions on how to make these and this is the design I came up with. It doesn't really look like a soccer ball to me but it was as close as I could get with 24 cupcakes. I made them for a teacher's son for his birthday party at school so he was not allowed to have a whole cake only cupcakes.

This was a cake done for a friend's little boy who was turning 2. He loves sports balls of any kind. He specifically asked for the football to eat.
The balls were piped on top of 4 inch cakes. I would have rather made it from the mini ball pan but I ran out of time to go buy that pan.

These are mini cupcakes I made to go along with the soccer ball for my daughter's end of the season party. They are iced with white or green buttercream. The tops are decorated with candy melt shaped either like a trophy or a soccer ball. I planned to do all trophies but ran out of white icing and I thought the soccer balls looked better on those. The trophies were peanut butter flavored candy melts YUMMY!

This is a soccer ball made from the Sports Ball pan, sitting on a 9x13 sheet cake. It's the first cake I've made using the ball pan, and it was fun to do!

This cake was done last year for a teenage Boy, who goes to Milan every summer to practice with the AC Milan team. He's an avid fan and soccer player and scouts have already talked about him. Marble cake with buttercream deco. Logo was done with piped BC. His comment (15 yrs old):
"I will not cut this cake. I play with soccer balls, I don't destroy them"

This cake is for my friend's husband who is big Manchester United Soccer fan. He's turning 33 hence the 33 on the trophy. There is a Man United flag that the cakes are sitting on but the picture isn't showing it well. Yellow cake with MMF and luster dusts. The black on the ball is black Satin Ice fondant. I used food markers to make the ball's logo.
