After a morning with a lot of fun and hard work - this is what I came home with. The icing looks great - but that's all thanks to my teacher.

This was for a Youth Sunday celebration. I was told to do anything I want on the cake that might represent youth, but not to make it religious. I figured the Peanuts characters are timeless representatives of youth. They were pleased.

The woodstock smash cake was made by me and the snoopy cake was made by my aunt. Both cakes were for my daughters 1st birthday party. They were very cute together.

MMF covered 14 and 8" cakes scatterd with dried fondant leaves and mellowcreme pumpkins. The tree is hand-moulded MMF and the figurines are the 2006 Hallmark Collection. I just love the Peanuts gang at the holidays!

My first FBCT. I was so skeptical I put it on a frosted cake pan so as not to waste a cake. Some worming, but I was surprised how easy it was. I used a sheet protector as my surface. I just put a little crisco on it and it lifted right off no problems. I'll be doing this one again!

I made this for a friend who got a new puppy this week. It was my first FBCT. I believe it would have looked better just in black and white, but I wanted to use up some of my practice royal icing roses I made last week. :o)

Birthday cake for Snoopy-loving parrothead. Fondant flowers, palm leaves and figures. Palm trees are fondant covered pretzel rods. The pretzel of the third palm tree got too soft in the cake and broke ... this was my very first "fancy" cake decorating project.

I made these cookie for a friend as a thank you. I found the pictures off of the internet, printed them out the size I wanted, then layed them on cookie dough and cut around them. Time consuming but so cute.

Made for my daughter's birthday when she went through an "I love Snoopy" phase. At the time all I could find were S&P shakers for decoration. The picture was not taken at a good angle but it was my first whimsical or topsy turvy style cake. I used buttercream & fondant.
