My husband and brother loves to wear football jerseys (not because they know anything about the teams) I thought this defined my brother very well, that was is name and his age. He's into motorcycles now, wait till you see the cake I'm going to do for him!!

My son is a Halo player so I made a FBCT of Chief, the main character in the Halo game, for his birthday cake. I smoothed the white icing with a patterned paper towel hoping it would look a bit like fabric.

My father is in the Dry Cleaning business. This year for Christmas I made him clothes cookies in sugar, chocolate, and gingerbread. They decorated the tree in the store with these cookies ornaments (edible) on wire hangers. Then I made him another 150 additional decorated clothes cookies to give away to the customers' children. Some were red/green and Christmassy and some were non-Christmas colors for the families who didn't celebrate Christmas.

This cake is a chocolate and coconut marble with chocolate bavarian creme filling - tastes like a Mounds bar! My mother-in-law is a nurse at the med center, and after telling the other nurses about my daughter's birthday cake (same flavors), they wanted one, too! I had just found the t-shirt pan, so came up with this design...they loved it!

These are some of the dresses and shirts that I made last night as practice with some left over cookie dough and my first batch of Antonia's Icing. I wanted to make clothes for my father to take in to work at his Dry Cleaning store. Other than the green dress - which I put my finger in - I was pleased with the results.

I used a t-shirt shaped tin and covered it in red sugarpaste. The England badge was from the wallpaper (spare) of my son's bedroom. My son and his friend were 5, which is the number on the shirt and the footballs on the board are candles.

I just chopped off the 'crotch' of the onesie and made the future big brothers their own cookies for the baby shower for their sister. They loved them. I got the idea when I remembered my step-daughter getting a pink shirt in the hospital gift shop when her little brother was born.

My first attempt was with homemade fondant made with marshmellows. I found the recipe here at CC.
We love Maui and just spent 9 days for our summer vacation. Our son than 11months old discovered sand...with his mouth. :o So that is the reason for the sand shoval made with gumpaste. And for the shirt well I guess it is obvious...we love Hawaii! :) I have been inspired with the show Ace of Cakes and I do have a background in creative endeavors. Oh and btw we really enjoyed working with the SATIN ICE fondant.
