This was a 12"x18" half white half chocolate sheetcake for an Eagle Scout celebration. It is iced in 1/2 Crisco 1/2 butter buttercream. The Eagle Medal is paper wrapped in a piece of Ziploce. Couldn't get it turned into an edible image in time.

DD's Brownie Troop is celebrating the birthday of Juliette Low, founder of the Girl Scouts tomorrow (her b'day is 10/31). Cupcake cake with BCT of the GS emblem. Tomorrow, before i drop it off, I will use black gel to write the words "GIRL SCOUTS" on the bottom of the BCT. I'm afraid if I do it now, it will run!!

This was a cake that I made for my sons cub scout pack for their Pinewood Derby. It was a yellow cake with chocolate buttercream frosting covered in Marshmallow Fondant. I put knife mark cuts on the top and sides of the fondant to try and give it a look of wood to make it match the track that we use. The cars are molded chocolate. I wasnt to thrilled with how the fondant rolled out since I have never rolled fondant that large before. I think the cake came out okay.

My first non-solicited, paid cake! FBCT of Eagle medal. It must have been too thin, it broke twice and ended up a little bit crooked. But the client loved it!

I did this huge cake for a Boy Scout Banquet. It was 4 foot by 3 foot. After I made this cake I was afraid that it would not fit out the door. Luckily for me, I was able to get it out the door and to the banquet just in time. I did the background to match the background of a picture.

I volunteered to make a cake for my daughter's bridging. I'm not too bright...I made a wedding cake for the day before. Anyway, this is half chocolate/half vanilla iced in buttercream, with fondant emblems, painted with luster dust and brown food color paste. By the time it came to write, my hands were shaking and it looks like it. Plus, the green basketweave isn't my best work. In my defense, I (again, not too bright) was decorating this in a travel container that had a pretty deep lip on it.

I made this for an Eagle Scout Ceremony. The medal is made using royal icing. I thinned the royal icing with water. Then I used a small paint brush to smooth out the icing. The detail on the eagle was done free handed.

My daughter and her Troop will be Bridging from Daisies to Brownies Tomorrow (06-11-06).

Made the cake for their celebration. It's a French Vanilla with Buttercream Icing.

Around the cake I put their Troop # and all of their names (9 of them).

Some young men had the honor of reaching their Eagle Scout level in Boy Scouting, and I had the good fortune of being asked to do their cake. It is an 11x15" cake with a FBCT of the design.

This cake was made for a Brownie Troop for their end of the year party. The triangles were all hand painted to look like the badges they received, as well as the Girl Scout logo.

THis was for a boy scout court of honor thing, and the theme was future/space. I got this idea from someone on cakecentral, but I can't remember who, so if it was yours, please make yourself known, and thank you!

Chocolate sheetcake for a camping themed birthday, all SC icing, pretzels for sticks. then tent was grahm crackers covered in royal, sugarcones for trees. Everything edible except the plastic deer. This was a fun cake to complete and easy for kids. My son recreated this cake once for a scout bake sale. (of course we added sweedish fish to his!)

This was for Juliette Low day that our local girl scouts did over the weekend. Her birthday is Oct 31. She is the woman who founded the girl scouts and she was quite a character. : ) The design on the cake looks just like patch the girls earned. That is her siloutte and she always wore pearls. It's two 11x15's put together. Half yellow half chocolate.
